true christians believe in Jesus, and He was a jew. its always seemed odd to me that they would deny one of their own sect. as for mel gibson, since this is a free society he had the right to say anything he wanted. if the comments had been about african americans or some other minority group, there would not have been so much publicity about it for as long as it was. i think jews believe they have the right to admonish any one or thing said about them. remember, even after slavery was abolished, blacks were still being lynched and murdered. we have come to accept that we cannot stop people from thinking what they feel in their hearts about us. because, what comes from the mouth does not always agree with what one feels inwards. mel apologized, but they, the jewish community wanted more, it was as if they wanted his soul. the most he could do was make a public apology, which he did. what more could he do. once something is said, theres no taking it back, thats why we who are gentiles according to the jews, must watch what we say in public, or a nasty rumor would be started, just as it was with mel gibson. over-rated and put out of context. only God can decide what is to become of his soul, not man of any belief, be him christian or athiest. at least unlike the black man of america, they don't have to live where their circumstnces occurred. they immigated to america on their own and were not forced as the black ancestors were. they come to america to live, and expect to be treated better than the races already here because of their past.

Let 'em try. We can't stop people from trying to get ahead, as long as they aren't using violence. On that subject historically the Jews have no business in the Middle East. Unlike what it says in the Old Testament the actual ancient Jews were a wandering people made up of goat herds and brigands. They moved around with their animals and robbed farmers and villages they came across for what goods they couldn't provide themselves. They never historically lived in what is now Israel, but more precisely out in the freakin' desert of Sinai. They used the caves around Jerusalem as bases from which to attack nearby permanent settlements. They never had grand kings, palaces, and armies. It's all fables and stories their priests heard about in exile in Babylon and turned into a Bible in 600 BCE. The historical Jews never believed in Jehovah at all, it's a construction. They all believed in animal and human sacrifice to Baal, Moloch and a host of other gods. It's all in the OT, you just have to read between the lines and BS.

Well, we don't live in a free world but we do live in a free country. And speaking of Mel Gibson, every person I know who gets drunk says stupid things! I think he is doing the right thing and getting help for his drinking problem and for those ignorant stupid comments he made but I also think he should be forgiven and sheesh! lets leave the poor guy alone! I personally have never heard a Jew curse a Christian. They don't believe in Jesus or any of the Christian stuff but they keep to themselves and live and let live. Remember Jesus was a Jew.
