Most would agree that reading the content on this site can be an amazingly insightful, jaw-droppingly funny, incredibly infuriating, or pathetically depressing experience.

I am curious as to what people think about the global intelligence level. Do you find people to be very sharp? About average? Lacking in common sense? Vincibly ignorant? Misinformed? Blissfully clueless, or dumber then garden slugs?

I find that Yahoo Answers more or less confirms the social pyramid theory. I will say this... I think we have a LOOOONG way to go as a race. What do you think?

Both the jewish and the christian religins based their set of believes on the bibles - the old and the new testements respectively.
Why are you all so sure in bible word? It has been written by ink on paper years after events. Even the new testement has been written at least 100 years after the aleged life of jesus.
It is not like someone walked arround with Mary and later with Jesus and the others - Peter, Paul, Mark or whoeveer writing a journal...!
This is not a trick question. Really want to know.

How many times has God contradicted his own words with his own actions? Much like Christ, and even holy men. The bible states: prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right. As long as you question the bible, you are believing in it. The bible is a game. You can't walk away. The penalty is hell, the reward of understanding is heaven. Which will you choose? But which is which? Is the bible of God? Or of Satan? Which causes more pain?
Prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right.

What are some street gangs in Australia. And more specifically, Melbourne?

Real gangs, not just a group of kids that hand around a train station trying to look for a fight.

Do you guys think you are guarantee to go to hell if you killed someone? Doesn't matter if it on purpose or not.

Do you think they have a chance of going to heaven if they repent and live a Christian life afterwards?

What about suicide? Killing yourself, straight to hell. Killing someone, chance to go to heaven?

I would just like to hear other peoples thoughts on either of the above mentioned Gospels........I don't care if they are in the traditional bible or not, the Catholic Church picked the books included in the Holy Bible and New Testament. I just want your thoughts if you are familiar with them on those Gospels. I also urge you to look them up if you are not familiar with them and see what you pick up from them.

or African Americans, we're just like, people will say, Just stop whining and get over it! Why is that? Don't some American Indians live off the government, and have major issues with substance abuse and poverty? Why more sympathy for one culture, and less for another?

My friend has a sleepover going on right now. Before this, I asked her if I could join them (with her friends). She said it's okay. I only wanted to go because I wanted to have more friends. I really don't have a lot. When we were in her house, hanging out in her room, I excused myself to use the restroom. And then I overheard one of them say, "Why is she here?". And my friend said she felt sorry for me. And one girl replied, "You shouldn't have invited her."

I felt really sad and I wanted to cry but I didn't want them to know that I heard them. So i just told them that I didn't feel good so I went home.

Why were they being mean?

Religion fanatics, Left or right wingers? etc etc. No room for intelligent discussion. Most questions here are pretty light weight without much thought.

simple honest question? If the earliest trinitarian material dates back to AFTER the bible was written how can it be the word of God if no one in the bible wrote about it or preached it, not hinted or pointed to it but truthfully wrote about and expounded upon it proclaiming it to be God's word, why is it never acutually written, why is no one ever baptized in the titles? I am being detailed in my question because I want a tuthful detailed answer, I ask in a true loving heart.

I don't have a clear understanding of why so many people are attracted to organized religion, when God considers everyone created equal in his/her own likeness. Does it really matter what religion you choose or if you choose one at all? Does it matter to God?
