All of these I thought were good input. May I give a little more info that I did not see. Any time that any one recieves a chain letter in the mail like what you all are talking about here on the internet. Don't be afraid to take it to your post master or let your police dept. know about it. See, Chain Letters ARE illegal. Especially when you get one that says put a dollar in the envelope and add say 10 names and then you will get 10 dollars so on and so forth and if you don't then something bad.......you know the rest.
In the 70's this was a really big problem where we lived and my mother caught me one day and told me the police do have a way of tracing these chain letters from their origianal starting place. The best thing to do is to throw them away or if you feel threatened by them in any way report it to the police dept. Remember the only bad thing that could be worse is this is a jail term for some one. Don't want it to be you guys are any one else you know.

No, I don't believe in chain letters because if your faith is strong and you believe in God there is no way that it can hurt you because God will protect you.

No. But many people subconciously lead themselves towards doing what is implied in there so that later on something will eventually turn out to be true.

I delete all of the ones I get, and so far, nothing truly horrific has happened to me afterwards.
Chain letters play on your fears, in other words, it's like someone saying they curse you.... When something bad happens, you automatically think 'It's the curse!" when really alls it is, is something happening.
