I hate Ebonics because it's not a dialect and it's not its own language. It's merely a bastardized version of misc. English phrases and words. M.L.K. would be ashamed.

I accept it as it is: no love nor hate.
Language is continually evolving. It may jar the senses of others when it is spoken or written but it is getting to be heard more due to use of ebonics in music, television shows, movies.

ebonics are pretty entertaining - but when people totally rely on them and cannot properly speak then it becomes a bit annoying

I don't hate it, but everyone needs to speak proper English. You don't write papers for class like that do you? What about speech class. If I spoke like like that I don't think I would have passed.

it makes them sound so uneducated and STUPID. Like dont they realize they are embarrassing themselves?...and to think they actually wanted that to be taught in schools???? Why? So we can all sound like ghetto hoodlums? Real attractive... No thanks...... ya beasts.
