Angry atheists...( not the sweet and nice ones )...whats ur big deal problem ? I asked a very simple question last night. It was very innocent . I asked you if you would like a prayer be4 I slept. I was being nice and sweet and a tiny bit playful and some very, very, very nasty atheists called me the vilest names, mentally ill, a drug user, etc. Ask yourself why and what makes you so virulent at the simplest things ? If that offended you...THEN WHY ARE YOU IN THE SPIRITUAL SECTION ? We talk about God and Jesus here...HELLOOOOO ???? Why not spare yourself some brain cells and cool your jets ? Smoke a freaking peace pipe or something ? ( not pot....) My goodness...get upset about something serious would you ?????? I didnt twist your little hairy arms and make you read my question did I ??? If I anger you...why dont you just vine swing right on past my question ? hmmmmm ?
love and kisses, Annie ( Anna banana...smile wink... )

Seriously. Look at the world around you, and try and tell me that if god exists, he doesn't have a sense for irony. Go ahead. I dare ya to say that! Now I'm gonna get a bunch of people saying that, but that don't mean it. CURSES!

just curious... i want to see how many people are actually educated on this type of faith, since as a pagan, i see a lot of christianity posts, and i'm just curious to see who out there is also a pagan or at least understands it for what it truly is. please no jokes. this is part of my life, and i do not mock any other religion.

it seems to me ... that Christianity .... the teachings and folowers of Christ do not 'receive' the same standard of 'respect' that 'we' give jews, and for that matter any other faith based or agnostic community ...what do you think ? by the God Bless YOU

He's always arguing that the Government is using HIS tax dollars to fund "liars" (teachers who teach what they are supposed to, evolution).

Does anyone else see the multi-faceted irony of this?

Why does Mathew copy 600 verses straight from Mark's original 666 verses. Luke admits he borrows from other people,he clearly borrows from Mathew. John borrows from Mathew and Luke This clearly shows they were not eye witnesses.

I still find it difficult to rationalize a rather stupid behaviour like getting drunk! Perhaps our friends in Alcoholics Anonymous can explain and answer the question in their usual spiritual manner. They seem to be into spirits and extraterrestrial matters!

Oh Jesus, save me from the demon booze! My brain quit working and I need your help! Jesus, take me home! Take me home to the big AA meeting in heaven!

And is studying the Bible as much as they do really vital?

Here's the situation. I had two co-workers having a conversation. One of them being Muslim, the other Christian. The conversation went into how good God was and how it was vital to pray to him. Both agreed with the other, but never acknowledged their god by name. The QUESTION IS: During this conversation who's god were they talking about and how do you know since neither one felt the importance of acknowledging they're god by a name?

me if it says in the Bible/Quran (any other) that BAD - really bad things happen to your in life -- for years and years -- is it because God is mad at you for something or if it says those who suffer will be okay at some point? I REALLY NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. If you aren't a Christian, please tell me your religious affiliation - Muslim or any other and what does your BOOK tell you? Because it is so hard to live like this - working your butt off and getting nowhere and loving people and it doesn't get better. You do your best and you can't help but feel like a failure no matter what you do. I'm 48 yrs. young - have raised 2 kids (great youngest son - - drug addict older son and he stole from us-he's not around-no, not dead-just away and that is a good thing); I have a granddaughter and a grandson on the way to being born -- I love my kids (yes, both) and my grandkids are wonderful. I need some hope that things will change and can't help but feel I'm being punished.

Who do you think they were. Of course, I am expecting answers that claim them as prophets or deities, etc. What about those of you who are not Christian, Buddhist, or Muslim? Who do you think they were?

How dare the Atheists refute Christianity with secular logics?
Why they don't understand that their logic is not applicable
to Christianity? Christianity is based on divine logics. Read The Bible.
It's the way to your salvation and it's the ultimate truth.
Why? It's so simple that a 5 years old child will understood.
Because Bible says so.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."
(John 14:6 NIV)

Is there ANY reason that you sheep are all bleating about the "apocalypse" at this time?
Look, you just have to remember that the "end of the world" that you all are looking forward to (remind me again why a kind and loving religion hopes and prays for the death of every man woman and child on earth?) will be signalled by a day with two sunrises. No, not an eclipse, but two sunrises. So, unless something is going to change the fundamental laws of thermodynamics in the universe and speed up the rotation of the earth (rolls eyes) or Jupiter wil finally ignite and become a second sun (again with the eye rolling) then you're safe. Because your mythological doomsday scenario is patently impossible.
Tell you what, live in the NOW for a change. Make the world a better place here and now. Instead of waiting to die so you can go to a make believe candyland for grown ups.
How's that for an idea?
