Your right, I agree with you.
I had to come back and write more. So many are taking this so personally, which tells me that if they are so offended, they bare some guilt. Your statement is true and those who can not admit that it is a trend within the Christian community to forget that their own faith/belief is based on faith in Christ, then they are fooling themselves. It won't get better until it is acknowledged as a first step. Who would claim that they are sinless and that they lose their way sometimes and forget to or fail to have a total faith in our Lord Jesus! I know at times I have, but I also have learned and repented of my sins and asked for guidance. The lord hears me and answers me and for that I am thankful, but if I had not had faith, and did not give it to God, I may have not found my answers.
Those offended and who are Christian, I think you should search your own hearts and ask God to search and convict you as well.

Faith is faith. You can't force it on people. You can't deduce it. In fact, faith is faith because it is beyond deduction.
Belief, on the other hand, can be powered either by logic or by faith. So Christians don't try to inspire faith, they try to inspire belief, which is something entirely different.
Having faith isn't a conscious choice. It's a subconscious one. If someone tells you "Don't worry... have faith" that's really saying "Don't worry about it, just assume that things will go alright." And then you assume that, not out of faith necessarily, but because sometimes it's just more effecient.
I don't really have faith. That's why I'm agnostic. I have faith in not having faith.

If you are a Christian, forgive me for chastening you a bit. You should not make such blanket statements about all believers. All born again believers have some, just some in larger quantities as the Lord has provided. God gives us faith, it is not something we whip up within ourselves. Much of what we believe is accepted by faith alone, but much also has substantive evidence. If someone asks for evidence for creation, I will provide, if they want evidence for the resurrection, I am happy to accommodate. God gave us faith, but also gave us mind to think. It is not a blind faith, but a faith based on the words of Scripture and the evidence left here by God. I hope you take these words in the Spirit they are given, not as criticism but as one brother speaking and reasoning with another brother.

I do, it's the only damn thing I have left. That makes me so angry to read that. I suffer every day with an issue that keeps me so sad and depressed and wondering all at the same time. It's a need and want combined with loving another. My faith is the only thing that keeps me going. I want to believe that it is something that will happen someday, but I think it won't as it doesn't seem to go anywhere. But my faith keeps me going in hopes that this can be settled one day soon. No matter what the answer, as long as there is one definitive answer.........FAITH....

It's far easier to focus on that which truly does not matter. I can't count how many people here just seem to ignore Matthew 7:1, and before I get blasted for being judgemental, I am not a Christian. I don't have a problem with Christianity, and in fact have a great deal of respect for someone who chooses to walk that path. The trouble is that most do not "walk" that path, they "talk" that path. Good Question, regardless of what anyone else says.

I think many people ignore the faith aspect and concentrate on judging and saying who's going to heaven and who's going to hell. Unfortunately it's just the climate of our country right now. It's very divisive and has been for the past few years. But nothing anyone says or does will probably change it.

Because, most religious people treat the bible as a buffet table, choosing what they want to believe in, ignoring the rest.
It comes from a severe lack of brains and independent thinking.

Ahhh, yes, faith.
And does your life reflect your faith?
As James pointed out...faith without works, is dead.
