My husband says I'm stuck in the 80's ... but I loved the 80's .... pre gulf war, big hair, great music, life seemed easier then somehow, no cell phone or internet -- but more time to get away from work without having beepers, pagers, blackberries etc....

Really. I'm curious. After knowing Jesus, after reading the Bible, after chasing after the Creator with all that I am, I think that denominations are bad. Destructive. Devisive. Can anybody tell me what good there is in multiple churches if there's only one Christ?

I noticed that gays and straights alike use these words like they drink water, but not in a mean way, but they say it so calmly. Gays say it to each other, and straights say it to gays, and no one is offended. I personally still think only gays should be able to call each other these things in a friendly way( the same way blacks say n*gga), but sometimes when a straight says the word dyke, It doesn't get to me.

Why do people in America have such hate towards Muslims, and then turn around and say that they are hateful. Isn't that a double standard?
And hasn't every religion been in the spotlight for doing evil things.

And all the true Christians, who go by the Bible, doesn't it say in the New Testmant we live by God's grace, and not an eye for an eye. So are we terroist to?

I'm Christian and I was wondering what everyone else thought?
I know theres a great definition in Proverbs 21 and feel that's good guide lines. But I think I remember that the Bible also says wives should teach their children, does that mean they have to homeschool their children or be devoted to them in such a fashion. Please use biblical verse(s) to support your opinion.
