Isn't it possible to believe in God and evolution? Jesus said that he spoke in parables, like the Bible. Why don't atheists admit that the story of creation, along with much of the Bible, is a parable? It is a story with a moral.

Hello. I think I made a breakthrough in supernatural science. I believe I saw Drows/Dark Elves. I've always lived in a remote town near the ocean. This summer, my family and I embarked on a road trip to Houston, Texas to see what life is like in the big city. After a long and grueling journey, we finally reached the state of Texas. As we were driving along a desolate stretch of road, we spotted an odd collection of dwellings. I had to go to use the bathroom, so I told my father to pull over. I was shocked when I saw the inhabitants. They had dark brown skin. Their hair was tightly curled and intricately braided. They wore exquisite Drow garments that were decorated with Dark Elf insignia that looked like "Tnug" or "Gnetto". Emblems that loosely resembled English. My eyes were drawn to a Dark Elf child. Her big eyes stared right into mine. Her nose was slightly flat but nonetheless very beautiful. Her neck was long and graceful. Her limbs were lean and long...

I was speaking with a friend of mine and was referring to a person she was acquainted was, and her name slipping my mind, I asked my friend "so does she have class on that day, your friend?". She not knowing who I was referring to and asking me what she looks like, I replied "the black girl who rides our bus".

To which she replied, "you mean the girl with brown eyes?", looking at me as if I had said something horribly wrong.

I think this is silly, calling blacks 'African-Americans', calling orientals 'Oriental Americans', and so on and so forth,

And the white race, we don't refer to them as 'European American', do we?

READ any newspaper. Look at television, or listen to the radio. There are so many stories of crime, war, and terrorism! Think about your own troubles. Perhaps illness or the death of a loved one is causing you great distress. You may feel like the good man Job, who said that he was “drenched with misery.”—Job 10:15, The Holy Bible in the Language of Today.

Ask yourself:

▪ Is this what God purposed for me and for the rest of mankind?

▪ Where can I find help to cope with my problems?

▪ Is there any hope that we will ever see peace on the earth?

The Bible provides satisfying answers to these questions.

THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT GOD WILL BRING ABOUT THESE CHANGES ON THE EARTH.

“He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4

“The lame one will climb up just as a stag does.”—Isaiah 35:6

“The eyes of the blind ones will be opened.”—Isaiah 35:5

“All those in the memorial tombs will . . . come out.”—John 5:28, 29

“No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’”—Isaiah 33:24

“There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth.”—Psalm 72:16

"A fire-breathing dragon lives in my garage."

Suppose I seriously make such an assertion to you. Surely you'd want to check it out, see for yourself. There have been innumerable stories of dragons over the centuries, but no real evidence. What an opportunity!

"Show me", you say, and I lead you to my garage. You look inside and see a ladder, empty paint cans, an old tricycle - but no dragon

"Where's the dragon", you ask.

"Oh, she's right here", I reply, waving vaguely. "I neglected to mention that she's an invisible dragon".

You propose spreading flour on the floor of the garage to capture the dragon's footprints. "Good idea", I say, "but this dragon floats in the air". Then you'll use an infrared sensor to detect the invisible fire. "Good idea, but the invisible fire is also heatless", I say. You'll spray-paint the dragon and make her visible. "Good idea, except she's an incorporeal (bodyless) dragon and the paint won't stick!"

Everyone is a sinner anyway, and why would gay marriage be a worse sin than other sins. Doesn't the first and most essential commandment say not to worship other gods, so does that mean it should be illegal to have other religions besides the judeo-christian ones? That's why your job is to save souls, not to get involved in politics and control what the entire secular world does. Your religious beliefs, whether or not they're right, is not a valid reason for creating laws in this country, which is something many people don't understand. Having gay marriage would also certainly be more preferable and less annoying than having gays being turned into victims and martyrs.

I mean, sure, it's a little annoying when you get a "Jesus loves you" as an answer to a math problem (and yes, I have seen this!), but I actually think it's kind of nice that somebody is concerned about my immortal soul. I don't know where my spiritual journey will take me, but being here on Yahoo has really given me some perspective. I've seen more than a few trolls, but the majority of answers I've gotten to my questions have been respectful and well thought out.

Mine was on senior prom night when I was in 11th grade. This is the only night that I blacked out off of drinking too much.It was a real fun night as far as I remember and the last thing I remember was ending up at a hotel(when my city has prom night they take over every hotel in the area and it is non stop parties.you can go to any hotel or motel and have kids running around like thier on a field trip).I don't know what happened after I got to the hotel because I blacked out.All I remember is waking up in the morning in a friends bathroom hotel room with my pants and draws down to my ankles.Hugging the toilet like she was the love of my life.I don't even know if the bathroom door was open or not.

I heard Arabs believe they descended from Abraham-I think from the time when Abraham had one child (Ishmael) by Hagar the Egyptian. But from what I know that blood didn't spread to all Arabs to mingle Hebrew blood with their own,in fact I thought Ishmael's tribe died out at some point, not spread all through out Arabia as Muslims believe.Even if Abrahams blood did spread it would have a been a small amount I think,as it would take more than one dose to really mix up millions of Arabs. But the Arabs believe they share bllod with the Jews. Now it is true they are all Semites which are Mid-East people, but I don't think they have a direct national bloodline to the Jews, like they believe.

I still have yet to hear a logical explanation of the Trinity from anyone. It's possible to be one in purpose without being the same actual being. For example, my wife and I are united in purpose as parents and essentially operate as a single unit even though we are two separate people. However, we're far from perfect and we don't always agree. Being perfected beings, God (Our Heavenly Father) Jesus Christ (His Son and our Savior) and the Holy Ghost/Spirit (The Comforter and Testifier of Truth) work together as a single Godhead in total harmony, each fulfilling their roles with exactness. It really is a simple concept that people make more difficult.
Christ's baptism is a perfect example:
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Maybe you don't like any penetration at all, not straps or fingers. Or maybe you like fingers, but not straps. And have any lesbians never had any penetration at all? I like fingers, but have never tried the strap, and probably won't anytime in the future.
