and a lesbian is a man trapped in a woman's body
why don't all the homosexuals and lesbians of this world find each other and fall in love?

It's your ifs that are a problem. A homosexual is not a woman trapped in a man's body and a lesbian is not a man trapped in a woman's body. You've roughly described a transsexual.

A gay man is a man. A lesbian woman is a woman. They are in the right bodies. It just happens that they love the same sex.

However a lesbian isn't any sort of man, she's a woman whether born in a woman's body or a man's body. Please get your terminology sorted out. A lesbian is a woman who is sexually and romantically attracted to other women. A gay man is attracted romatically and sexually to another guy.

Trans folks are the ones who have been born into the wrong bodies.

You have it wrong. A transgender person is someone that feels they are trapped in a body of the wrong sex. They are the ones who want the sex changes.
