I lived in San Diego my entire life and I love it in a sense that it's my home, but to actually live here permanently and raise a family and all that? No, I wouldn't live in CA. There are good and bad parts, I just prefer a less populated place.
Lol, I've told my friends this before about how I would describe the bad parts in San Diego and that would be..
On the street I live on there was a high risk, probation-fled, pedophile hiding in one of the homes. The muslim church down the street from my aunt was holding 2 (I think) terrorists during 9/11 who made plans to blow up the Coronado Bridge, I was almost kidnapped once, and have been stalked once.
I think that was it. But honestly, it's pretty safe if you have any common sence. I personally am moving because I don't like the high population and prices of living here are enough, literally, to drive you away.

I no longer liked living in southern California due to many reasons. The cost of renting an apartment was astronimical. It cost $2000 a month, plus $2000 security deposit . With first, last, & security deposit, it was $6000 just to move in! Plus, there is too much traffic on the freeways, causing a normal 20 minute drive to last 1 1/2 hours usually. Too many people, so everyone was irate and on edge at all times. It was very, very stressful. Plus the beaches have so much pollution nowadays, that there are beach closures frequently. Now I live in a small town in Northern California, and it's quite beautiful. I like it much better, though I miss the lovely temperatures of southern CA.

I do enjoy living in California, but I wouldn't mind moving to another state just because the cost of living is so high here in California. Despite the cost, California is a beautiful state with a diversity of people and great places to visit and see.

California offers everything, Beachs, Deserts, Forest, Snowboarding, modern cities, white water rafting, great farm land, Yosemite, Monterey, San Francisco. Personally Northern California is the best, Socal is alright except for the heat, people, and Paris Hilton. If you don't like California your just living in the wrong part. I've been around the world and nothing is quite like here.

I live in California, the only thing I don't like about it is that its too expensive here. I'm in Sacramento. The weather is almost perfect, a little hot in the summer, but not too bad. Never too cold in the winter.

I use to live in California I hated the way they were always working on the freeways holding up traffic and never seem to finish. Also the graffiti on the freeway signs. It is very expensive there too.

I live in California in San Jose, and I really love it but in some places, there are alot of people that I should really be careful about. There aren't alot of cars in my neighborhood or in San Jose, but sometimes there can be traffic, mostly becuase of car crashes or accidents. The weather is good not perfect or bad but just pretty okay.

I hate the weather and (living in LA) hate the traffic and the giant crowds of people EVERYWHERE I turn, the freeways are jammed pack even in the middle of the night on weekdays. We here in California are wayyyyyyyyyy too overpopulated.

I like living here but sometimes it irritates me.
A lot of shallow people here.
Some people here have liberal views but no education to back them up.
There's the high number of spoiled rich brats.
A lot of "wannabe" actors, writers, singers who think that just by being close to LA they have a better chance.
It's expensive and crowded.
Otherwise, it's a good time and you can't beat the weather!
