I still have yet to hear a logical explanation of the Trinity from anyone. It's possible to be one in purpose without being the same actual being. For example, my wife and I are united in purpose as parents and essentially operate as a single unit even though we are two separate people. However, we're far from perfect and we don't always agree. Being perfected beings, God (Our Heavenly Father) Jesus Christ (His Son and our Savior) and the Holy Ghost/Spirit (The Comforter and Testifier of Truth) work together as a single Godhead in total harmony, each fulfilling their roles with exactness. It really is a simple concept that people make more difficult.
Christ's baptism is a perfect example:
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (cf. John 8:58, 10:38, 14:10; Col. 2:9). It also clearly teaches that the Holy Spirit is God (cf. Acts 5:3–4, 28:25–28; 1 Cor. 2:10–13). Everyone agrees the Father is God. Yet there is only one God (Mark 12:29, 1 Cor. 8:4–6, Jas. 2:19).

Jesus tells his apostles to baptize "in the name [notice, singular, not plural] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). This is a proof-text: three distinct Persons united in the one divine name. In 2 Corinthians 13:14, Paul writes, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." We see this same unity of divine Persons in 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, Ephesians 4:4–6, and 1 Peter 1:2–3.

trinity is not taught in the bible that was in pagan religions a long time before christ. Like the easter bunny and the christmas tree.
It was added to help convent pagans.
col 1:15 and read Rev 3:14
Shows Jesus was created as the Almightys first work
By means of him all other things in heaven and earth was created. But the point is Jesus was created. The Almighty has always been here. And holy spirit was poured out on 120 disciples that couldn't be if it was a person.

The Trinity - It just doesn't make sense. You are right it doesn's make sense.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?

Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?

1st of all Jesus said: He pointed to God as the Source of his life, saying, “I live because of the Father.” According to the context, this meant that his life resulted from or was caused by his Father, even as the gaining of life by dying men would result from their faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.—Joh 6:56, 57.

Jesus’ being called the “only-begotten Son” (Joh 1:14; 3:16, 18) does not mean that the other spirit creatures produced were not God’s sons, for they are called sons as well. (Ge 6:2, 4; Job 1:6) However, by virtue of his being the sole direct creation of his Father, the firstborn Son was unique, different from all others of God’s sons, all of whom were created or begotten by Jehovah through that firstborn Son. So “the Word” was Jehovah’s “only-begotten Son” in a particular sense,

Jesus is also “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” This does not mean that he usurps the authority and position of Jehovah, who is “God our Father.” (2 Corinthians 1:2) “He [Jesus] . . . gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” (Philippians 2:6) He is called Mighty God, not Almighty God. Jesus never thought of himself as God Almighty, for he spoke of his Father as “the only true God,” that is, the only God who should be worshiped. (John 17:3;

Rev. 1:1; 3:14, RS: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, why did God have to give the revelation to Jesus, if he is God? .

Does the Bible teach that none of those who are said to be included in the Trinity is greater or less than another, that all are equal, that all are almighty? Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?)

John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”

1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven.

A person who is really seeking to know the truth about God is not going to search the Bible hoping to find a text that he can construe as fitting what he already believes. He wants to know what God’s Word itself says. He may find some texts that he feels can be read in more than one way, but when these are compared with other Biblical statements on the same subject their meaning will become clear. It should be noted at the outset that most of the texts used as “proof” of the Trinity actually mention only two persons, not three; so even if the Trinitarian explanation of the texts were correct, these would not prove that the Bible teaches the Trinity.

Your right , we as humans can never understand the things of GOD and the trinity is no exception ,the best way to describe it is that you are a Father and you have a father ,So that makes you a father and a son at the same time ,Are you an uncle too some one are a nephew ,that would make you a Father ,A Son ,A Uncle And a nephew all at the same time , Why could man be these many things but God who is the creature of all things be what he is !

It would be conceited to think that we have the ability to even grasp the concept of all things, let alone that of the supernatural.

No one knows everything because our human brain is not capable. If so, there would be no mystery to infinity. You would have an answer to it with a beginning and an end. We logically cope with numbers as infinite by adding zero's- but that is what we have accepted, but only because we arent capable of knowing the beginning or the end numbers-

The smartest person in the world may tell me that there is no beginning and no end - but only because the smartest mind cannot fathom an answer beyond its capability and what is logical is not always right.

Even the best explanation of the Trinity can only serve to satisfy, but the answer wont be exact, because we cannot fully comprehend things of the supernatural. If we could, everyone would know the answer to your question, and everyone would believe in Jesus.

Many people are under the wrong assunption that the Trinity is 3 different gods. 1+1+1 =3 (tryplex)

God, as man is triune 1x1x1=1 Body, soul and spirit.

In this day and age of science fiction movies it's really not all that hard to believe...unless you just don't WANT to.

We do know that the Bible does say the Three are One, we also know the Bible says Jesus is God but I understand why its hard to understand (heh... say that 10 times fast)

But as I see it (might not be everyones view but its mine) God created man in His own image, and obviously it wasn't in looks since we all look differently, so how are we in His image? Body Mind and Spirit. That is a Trinity (3 in 1)

My body is me, my mind is me and my spirit is me, but they are different, yet equal parts of me but 3 of one whole.

So Jesus spoke to God when He was on earth, how can this be if they are One being? First, God can be more than one place at a time, we cannot however. So its not hard for me to believe God was in Heaven and Earth at the same time. Why did Jesus pray to "Himself" then? I think that it's the same way that my body may be in conflict with my mind and spirit. They might not all agree on everything. My body might not want to get up for work and try to talk my mind and spirit into staying in bed all day. But, my mind knows i need the money and my spirit knows I shouldn't lie to my boss. 3 things going on in one being... Yet all are still me.

Yeah, I was a Catholic for 18 years and never believed in the Trinity. Jesus prayed to God and called him Father... so why is he considered God? He can't be God. And I never really got the Holy Ghost thing either...
