I've read that particularly women think they look younger than they really are, when really they just look their age...

The answer to this question very much depends on how you dress and whether you carry a young and fit attitude. I could say your only as young as the man you feel.

So dress in cosy fashions and you will look your age or older girls. Cosy here means slovenly tracksuit bottoms, very large t shirts, sweat shirts and tunic tops. However, girls wearing a smart fitting skirt with slim top is a younger look altogether.

So sometimes I look my age, other times I don't. The smart look reduces my age in appearance by approximately ten years and the man in my life is 11 years my junior.

Dress smart and think young. Be careful with the make up too, don't overdo it. Make up, can make you look tarty, use just enough to heighten your natural beauty.

Don't use cheap perfumes, cheap could well mean you are cheap. Use perfume sparingly or not at all.

Don't shop for clothes with older people, shop on your own or with a younger friend. don't be frightened of wearing a fashion item if it might suit you. Good luck.

I think I look younger than my age, due to the fact that I have consistently been told I look at least 5 years or more younger than I do, and that I must have had my children really young. In fact, I had them at age 27 and 29. They're now 18 and 16. I also have very few wrinkles on my face, due to consistent moisturizing every night for years. Plus, attitude helps ALOT!

I think I look older than my age close up because sun damage and smoking have damaged my skin, also genetics dictate my skin tries to escape my face at a young age.

All in all though just to look at me normally I think I am younger, mostly because everyone else says I look a lot younger than I am (I still get asked for ID when buying cigarettes – I'm 23 years old) so I tend to see that myself, plus I don't think I dress my age at all.

I definitely look younger than my age I'm 18 in two weeks and people mistake me for a 14 or 15 year old! It gets annoying that every time i go cinema or buy DVDs that I have to bring proof of age because most retailers don't believe me. I'm pretty small in height for my age but I love it.

Definitely younger! I have been called 'young man' for more than two decades now by people who in some cases are 10-15 younger than myself.

I won't give my age, but I remember rationing and the Coronation of QE II.

I don't think necessarily I do, but people always think I'm younger than I am until I tell them. Then they act all surprised. I don't really think you can tell how old a person is by how they look...smoking ages a person's skin prematurely, as does too much sun. I don't smoke, sunbathe or wear makeup and I'm often taken as younger than my age.

When I'm not slightly over weight I actually look much younger than my age but as soon as I gain weight I look my age and older.

I am 44, and I have 7 children, and 2 grandchildren.
I was asked for ID recently at the liquor store, so I believe I look younger than I actually am.

Most people say I look younger than my age, but I think mainly it is because I beat most of them up 50 years ago.

Younger. I've been mistaken for an 18 year-old recently, and I'm 21.
