This is so true.....It has to be a personal thing why you believe. For me, so many things have happened that there is no way they could all be coincidence. Not only me, but my husband.

Here's an example: 20 years ago, my husband (Buddy) was strung out on cocaine, and he desperately wanted to come clean, but couldn't. He had used for 8 years and as much as he tried, he could not quit. So, he asked God to please set him free from his addiction.

Not long after he got an invitation by an acquaintance to go to a tiny church in a double-wide trailer in Wyoming one Sunday. The guy he went with did not know that Buddy was a user. Buddy went to the service not knowing anyone else. The lady pastor called him out of the congregation of about 30 people and said, "this young man is addicted to drugs and he wants to be set free."

The people gathered around him and prayed......Buddy felt something actually leave his body. Of course, this was seriously blowing his mind...just imagine.

He never used again. No withdrawls, no cravings, completely done. To an addict, this is a WOW story.

Now, when those types of things keep happening over and over. You know, there is something out there.....

There's no definitive answer to this question...

The facts at hand seem to suggest that there isn't a god.

Of course, a god, being what it is, could have made it seem this way...

Yet, what purpose would that serve but to draw away from his accomplishment?

Still, although there could be a god, there's no way to prove a supernatural conclusion except by first examining EVERY possible natural conclusion...

You see, because the supposed god is supernatural, meaning that he isn't a part of the universe we can see, there is no possible way we can know anything about him. So, unless we can rule out every possible scenario as to our existence first, we can't logically assume there is a god...

That's like asking is something that exists, real? Of course God is real, if He isn't real, then no one or anything would be here. You should read the Bible if you're not sure, and if you're too lazy, then just read this: God IS real!

The only way you'll know if God exists, is if you take the time to find that essence within. People say to go to church but you can't find God outside of yourself. Meditation works, it's difficult but you'll find God there if you stay focused and disciplined.

As someone wise once said...

Absence of proof is NOT proof of absence.

Ask yourself, why does over half the current world's population believe in the same God? That is a lot of people....

Yes. That's why some people choose to believe it and some don't. Really, you're right. No one **knows** if he (or she!) is real.

theists= they don't *know* that God exists. But they have *faith* that God does exist.

atheists=they don't *know* that God doesn't exist. But they choose to believe that God doesn't exist.

agnostics= don't know whether God exists or not. Don't care whether God exists or not because there is no evidence.

I'm as sure God is real as I'm sure you aren't a vampire. The belief of God is based on Faith. If you don't have Faith, then you dont really believe.

You better believe it --
How can you not believe God is real?
I guess I can understand not believing there is a God, but if you believe in God, you'd believe he is real.

Don't question a good thing -- God loves you, just listen -- he is trying to talk to you every day.

God is real only in the mind of god's creator!

Yes, ask anyone, does not need to be a Christian. The american natives chanted long before the white man came ...Oh great spirit, earth, sun, sky and sea you are inside and all around me...
