Yes I actually do this on a daily basis where I work... in a prison some of the new inmates have difficutly dealing with the older crowd and sometimes need staff assitance so as to avoid fights and other unpleasant experiences.

I truly believe that people with down syndrome are our angels here on earth. I do tend to speak up when I see or hear someone being harassed or ridiculed. I speak up because I feel that we will be held accountable for our actions and our inactions. Children tend to be cruel without understanding how much pain they inflict. There is no excuse for an adult to stoop to hurting another person for no reason though.

If I see a person being bullied in any way I certainly will speak up ! I feel it is our duty . I also hope I leave the bully feeling stupid in front of his friends. Way to go Mom ! if everyone took this action people would think twice about picking on those weaker than they.

Yes, I have also taught my kids to. I do it because everyone deserves to be treated like are human. I hate to see people pushing someone around or judging them, generally when people do this it is because they don't understand them. I think when kids do it, they think it gives them some kind of power, I hate it. My daughter brought home every kid at school who didn't have friends until high school, then she slowed down a bit, but still stands up for everyone and tells other kids how rude they are.

Yes. I really don't care what others think. It really disturbs me when I see cruel treatment of others. I have to say something.

Bullys come in all sizes, shapes, colors. They all have one thing in common — they are emotionally and psychologically disturbed. They deservedly should have their inappropriate, cruel behavior pointed out publically. Some times a little public humiliation goes a long way in changing unacceptable behavior.

I was in a bar, really low key and chill, and this guys starts talking to me. He's cool, and buys me a drink. He happens to be overweight, and it's hot here in the south, and he's a bit moisty. So his "friend" comes up and says, "you ever seen a fat guy sweat so much." And it really pissed me off, I guess because his friend wanted to embarrass him in front of me. So I say, "Everybody sweats, asshole." I felt better. The End.

Yes.
I do that because I am not in favor of insult or degredation of anyone.
I would hope someone would do the same for me in such a situation.
