Doesn't your choice to carry a firearm communicate a lack of faith in his ability to save his faithful follower from evil things?

I think I will link all of my questions to this one. Tell me what you think?
For those that like to point out the shortcomings in others, (specifically me) allow me to help you with your endeavour. I am slightly overweight, quick to temper, overly pensive, condecending, thick headed, arrogant, and self serving. Although I strive to change these things, it would seem that isn't good enough for some, allow me to say that I try not to embody these qualities on here. I also have a real interest in spiritualism, and wonder why it is that people are so nasty towards each other, as I think that if I can answer that question, maybe I can change too. Would anyone like to add to the list for me?

I'm an agnostic and I respect people from all types of backgrounds, why every time I hang out and someone brings up religion do christians not respect the opinions of others and force their opinions to the forefront? If I ask them to stop they get even more passionate, it's very disrespectful to other don't you think? I'm sure someone will tell me to believe in Jesus or I'm going to hell for this one.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Truckers (whom i have the utmost respect for, by the way--love ya uncle kenny) can only drive 10 hours straight before having to stop for sleep. Why then can Paramedics and EMTs work 24, sometimes as much as 48 hours in a row, oftentimes with no sleep, and no one bats an eye? i know i wouldn't feel comfortable having my husband show up at my doorstep to work on me at the end of one of his marathon shifts if i needed serious help. does no one care, or are they just that understaffed that they have to look the other way? he worked 36 hours straight yesterday, called to tell me he might have to stay for another 12, (but luckily, they found someone to come in and cover the last half of the shift last night) then turned around and went back in for another 24 this morning. had they not found someone, he would have been at work 72 hours. and it was the supervisor that was letting him work, or should i say asking him... shouldn't someone do something?

i used to be a christian but i stopped when i was 15. every church i went to the people there acted as though i was tresspassing on private property or that i was in the wrong place. i got a few smiles but i could tell they were forced. after much deliberation i have decided to be of no regilion but to focus my energies in the wiccan and pagan religions at the same time. they are fascinating and i have discovered more about myself while studying these 2 religions for the past few years then i had in 15 years of christianity. after all my studying i have one question.

i believe there is more than one god. i don't worship them all i just believe they exist. many religions admit there are many gods. how do christians know there is only one? you are taught there is only one but what if that one is really one of many? how do you really know for sure?

first i have to say that quran was revealed to prophet mohammad who couldn`t read or write 1400 years a go in arabia. the spritual and moral content and the devine beauties of the quran is so attractive that most people become muslims because of
the strong love between themselves and the one god(god of ibrahim, jesus,moses and others who is one god and has no partners or son or daughter),
but some people are after proofs , they cant have faith easily, they are after signs
if you are like them,I want to share with you just some of the many many miracles of the quran.

keep in mind mind that quran is also the most beautiful text in arabic literarily and it
was impossible to just add or delete words in order to get these balances.

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times, giving a total of 45 references. If we divide that number by that of the number of references to the land we arrive at the figure 28.888888888889%. The number of total references to land and sea, 45, divided by the number of references to the sea in the Qur'an, 32, is 71.111111111111%. Extraordinarily, these figures represent the exact proportions of land and sea on the Earth today

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

Here in the UK we have religiously segregated schools which are supported in part by public money - e.g. CofE schools, RC schools and now (I believe) even Muslim schools.

Should we work towards a situation in which the state only funds secular schools, and the law requires children to attend one of those schools? That doesn't mean that we should make private religiously segregated schools illegal, but that all children should have the same standard of secular education, and that any attendance at religious school would have to be out of normal school hours. If not, why not?

I think we will be failing our children and creating conditions for a more divided, intolerant society if we don't work towards this goal. We *must* learn the lessons of places like Northern Ireland.

Ok-so this may sound insane-and I'm not even sure if I believe in this, but last night-some man was camped outside my bedroom window at my apartment in his car with his lights on for several minutes-and when I opened my window to ask him to please turn them off, he slowly creeped away while staring at me.after he left I got this horrible feeling in my stomach like something bad was going to happen and I went to check on my 6 month old son.I felt this horrible evil presence in his room and my husband was so freaked out that he agreed that we could let the baby sleep with us for the night. I called the please to alert them of the weird man who neither met up with anyone, nor dropped anyone off, but the evil presence is still in my son's room and I feel life it's spreading in my apartment. Is it possible that this man may have been like an evil spirit or a demon or something (like I said-I don't know If I belieieve this)by the way, my son is getting babtised Sun,and can I get some prayers

Im not talking about infiant baptism or sprinkling. Im talking about evangelical christians/evangelical churches. Is one saved and born again when we believe in and recieve jesus christ as our Lord and Saviour or are we born again WHEN we are baptized in water? Why or why not?
