God loves all people, so thus God is love. He might hate your sins, and what you do, but He is going to love you forever.

God only hates sin. And why not? Can't God have all the colors of emotion as well?

God is love is mentioned 2 or 3 times in the Bible. our definition of someone being "love" and God's definition are very different. their are verses in the Bible that talk about God hating something or someone. God is love, in the biblical defintion means, he will not withhold one good thing to those who wak uprightly. he is working everything for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. 1 corinthians 13 gives a biblical definition of what is meant when the term "God is love" is used.

God is love because He loves you, He loves all us. He doesn't hate. He does, however, find disappointment and sorrow when we fall astray. It's a sort of happy and sad thing- if you don't know one, you can't exactly know of the other, or that you even have such. does that make any sense to you?
