Assuming that there was no religions in the world, not even the idea of spirtuality existed; how do you think that world would compare to the one we know?

Some Ideas to think about:

Do you think that there would be more or less morality?

Do you think that people would more or less ethical?

How would the population of the world change?

What type of government would exists. How do you think money and resources in the world would be distributed?

Do you think that the word "war" would ever be introduced into our vocabulary? If so, do you think that items such as the atomic bomb would have been created?

Since there is no afterlife in this world, how would people treat their one chance at life? Do you think suicide would happen? How would people act about love and relationships?

Would global warming even be an issue?

I am not attacking,this is the only way I know how to put it.Christians have had crusades,inquisitions,murdured and tortured nonbelievers.They go out,and call themselves missionaries.What they do is destroy cultures,bring diseases,and tell the people they will not cure the diseases they brought less they convert.This has long been a practice of the church.Now christians say "those were not true christians".Look at today.Your childrens children will look back and say, "oh they were not true christians" about you for the stand on gay rites,etc.Many have been killed for sugesting the earth is not the center of the universe,etc because it conflicted with religion.Look at evolution,in the future,this will be acepted by the church.Christians need to live up to their religions past.It is not that your sect did not do that,because most did,and you are all chrisitans.It is not ok if you just repent. I admitt it is not just christians,and not all christians.

I'm not predjudiced but this is just something that I have noticed. I don't see what the harm would be in saying hello back. Does this have something to do with the Breer Rabbit and the Tar Baby story? In that story, Breer Rabbit was mad at the tar baby because he wouldn't speak to him. Maybe that is why white people just smile when spoken to by a black. They probably think that blacks have read that story and are trying to switch it around. When someone just gives me "the smile" I never speak to them again!

i feel so sad for people who die because of wars, specaily about little childeren, it is so painfull.
people can help alot but no one do some thing, no one care.
i dont think we be safe even if we be war from this wars, this wars effect our lifes too.

Heaven is supposed to be a place of perfection and happiness. But even people who have sinned badly can still get into heaven. So lets say you go to heaven, and you find someone who killed and raped your entire family, will you remember them?

Would you be upset if you arrived in heaven only to find out the love of your life had went to hell?

Or is it that once you are in heaven you accept these things with a smile and move on?

It's not. It's derived from Germanic languages.
The romance languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, Romanian, Friulian, etc.) are derived from Latin, but not English.
English has words derived from Latin, but only because English speakers have a great habit of borrowing words from other languages.

Every Christian knows Jesus rose on Easter Sunday, which the bible refers to as the "first day of the week." The Jews have kept Saturday for thousands of years, so we know there's been no interruption in the days of the week. Whole weeks have been removed from the calendar throughout history, but the seven day weekly cycle has never been interrupted, which to me is evidence of the existence of God, and his protecting that which he called holy. The Sabbath isn't Jewish, because it was started in the Garden of Eden, AND is in the 10 commandments.

So there's no arguing that what most Christians call "The Lord's Day" is Sunday, the first day of the week.

I took a Strong's concordance and studied every occurrence of "first day of the week" and "sabbath" and all I could come up with were verses about Jesus and the disciples going to synagogue on Saturday, the Sabbath. Even after Jesus died, in Acts, they went to synagogue on Saturday

WHY then is Sunday called "The Lord's Day"?
