Not in South America (unless they're tribal). They do still have royal families in Asian countries like Thailand and Japan (Japan's the most famous in Asia). Africa has royalty too but most of their royalty is found in separate tribes (different tribes have different chiefs who are considered kings). Swaziland and the Zulu Nation still have monarchs.

Yes, there are still royal families in Africa and in Asia. In South America, there are 'pretenders' -- that is, people who are descended from former rulers, only the country is no longer ruled by a monarch. The pretenders to a throne live in hopes that the monarchy will be restored some day and they will be re-instated. Same as in France, Germany, and a number of other former monarchies.

Yes. In Africa there are many royal families that are still in power and descendants of such ancients royals as that in Cameroon, South Africa and others. In Asia as you probably know in, the Saudi Arabian, UAE, Jordanian and others are all based and ran by existing royalties. As far as South America, there are no major one except a few remaining tribal ones.
