I voted for Bush twice. The first time I had very high hopes and was very excited about his presidency. The second time I did not feel Kerry would be a good replacement, but I was uneasy about Bush. I did not support the preemptive war on Iraq, but assumed the president had more information than I did or at least was looking out for the best interests of the country. After all the news about wire taps, government over-site of all sorts of personal information, the administrations lack of respect for the constitution and the complete arrogance of this administration I regret voting for him. I dont actually think Kerry is much different...they all seem to be bought and paid for by the big money. I'm very disillusioned with our political process and leadership both the democrats and republicans. Im a Christian and Bush's Christianity was never a big selling point to me..I'm electing a president not minister or a priest. A politicians religious affiliations dont make that much of a difference to me, I would vote for a Jew, Hindu, Christian, Muslim or Atheist as long as they respected the constitution and upheld it and their political views were such that I agreed with them.

I am a Liberal Democrat who didn't get tricked...but I would like to make an observation.

Christians didn't get tricked....they were complicit in the tricking of all the other Republicans. During the 2004 elections, every church had their smart alecky signs outside telling voters how critical the coming election was for their souls.

Funny how Christians voted to be led by someone who denies compassion to his enemy, condones torture, and steals the very freedoms from Americans that he is so driven to give to the Iraqis -- who are not Christians I might point out.

Bush may think he's receiving messages from God, but his actions suggest that a darker power is talking to him.

No trick my friend. I went in there and pulled the lever for the candidate of my choice. A proven leader. A proven politician. A proven man of conviction. Who tricked me. I voted for the man twice. And since I am the only Chad who could possibly have been pregnant in this world---and never was---then you know how I feel about the stupid news reports about hanging Chad's, pregnant Chad's....etc. etc. Even after the media proved that Bush WON the election---people still refused to believe the report. Well, 2004 has become history. The man IS president and I will respect the office as well as the man as long as I am an American citizen with all the rights affixed.

I was a republican and voted for Bush as the lessor of two evils.

On the foreign policy side he has done as good as could be expected with the idiots on the left bashing him at every turn, on the domestic side he is a friggin lib.
I am now libertarian and will votes for politicians that exercise fiscal restraint and stay the hell out of peoples personal lives..

I still don’t think he was voted in. Popular vote means nothing! Even Pat Buchanan is speaking out against the political policies of the Neo-Con regime. It will take years and years to fix the damage Bush has done, but since God talks to him he still has their approval-Just look at the answers. What a bunch of maroons!

if i could have voted i would have voter for bush BOTH times

no one was tricked into anyhting

and i think Bush has been a good president,

most people would have hated any president that was in power for the last two terms becuase MOST people don't understand whats really going on in politics.... so they just blame the president.....

sorry guys but the president doesn't directly control everything that happens

and we should be in iraq right now... Saddam was gassing his people and putting men through shredders in front of thier families if they couldn't pay thier taxes..... and if we leave now... who knows who would come to power....someone worse maybe.....

Was not tricked. I voted for Bush because of his Biblical principles and stand behind the Christian man he is and his decisions. I agree that some have not been great, but he still needs our prayers and support. Most have been right on. It is nice to have a man of God in control. Thank you God for sending him to us.

I'm a republican, and I did not vote for Bush. Guess I'm the only one with half a brain out there. I voted for Mickey Mouse.
