I have noticed many questions on here are created to stir anger, I have tested it out and have seen the results, much more replies to the nasty, hate filled, God, race, and gay bashing type of questions, are we so blind to give those people that pleasure , oh yeah and build their points?

Set up a "religion" with rules of human behavior; then to publish a book with these rules, then to suggest that this book contains rules from God and that it is the Truth and that all other religions and truths and books are "false".

Further, would the cult tell its members that they will be mocked for these believes by people who don't know these "truths".

Some may say this is an attack on Christianity and that I should let others believe what they want to. Not disagreeing with the part about let others believe and live what they want to, but don't be a hypocrite and impose God's laws on the nation of America.

Can I get a SHO-NUFF

I challenge anyone who doubts our evolutionary origins to go to a wildlife park and spend some time watching any of the great apes. See how their movements and behaviour so closely match our own. See them care for their young as we do. See the expressiveness in their eyes.

Unless you are completely insensible, I guarantee that you will be awestruck, not by how different they are from human beings, but how obvious it is that they are our close relatives, separated from us by just a few million years of evolution.

I find that sometimes I don't see the point of public bathrooms installing so many automatic devices with the idea of promoting sanitary practise. You walk in the bathroom, sit on the automatic-flushing toilet after putting toilet paper on the seat, flush the toilet with your foot, then you have to wash your hands using those automatic sinks and sometimes those automatic soap-dispensers and the automatic papertowel dispensers or the automatic hand-drying machines and then... you have to touch the bathroom door to exit. The same one everyone touches, some of whom don't wash their hands. I'm just thinking, "for a place so obsessed with cleanliness to AVOID hand-contact with things, they sure screwed up with the main door."

Doesn't it make it all seem useless sometimes? I mean I know some people use papertowel to touch the door handle, but sometimes there is none available.. but still. The fact that sometimes EVERYTHING is automatic except the germ-ridden front door seems a bit ironic.

This is a question for a friend.

My friend a gay man has and ex bf. They separated 8/2005. They owned a home together and sold it, move away from each other 6/2006. Since then my friend’s ex has been harassing him. My friend has changed phone no., email accounts, yahoo blog account. Block him from emailing him, calling etc...He has told him to stop several times.

His ex has threatened public humiliation, and physical violence to a some degree. This ex has not followed through with any threats. My friend is pretty sure it is just a way for him to mentally harass him. For the last 4 weeks my friend has ignored his ex. He has not replied to any emails etc.

My friend recently met a wonderful man. He posted his loves picture on his yahoo blog, and now this harassing ex of his has emailed the new boyfriend in and attempt to discredit him. The new boyfriend laughed at the ex’s email and still loves my friend.

What should I tell my friend to do? How would you handle this mess?

(or clarify it)
For example, Stephen King, John Connolly, Clive Barker, James Patterson and ect. This is not a slam against Christians, but the Bible is hard to read and difficult to understand.

I came up with 'casa da fazenda' but I'm not sure if people use that. 'Barraca' might be ok for shack. Any ideas? Also, it needs to be Brazilian Portuguese. Thanks!

Fess up! We're all way, way off base sometimes. I'll start:

In my freshman year of college, one of the lymph nodes on the back of my neck swelled up, and it had never done that before. I was terrified that it was a blood clot (two family members had died of strokes in the past year) and that it was inching toward my brain, only to kill me while I slept. My room mate had to wearily explain to me that it was just a swollen lymph node and that I probably wasn't going to die anytime soon unless she killed me out of frustration.

Up until I was eleven, I got the words 'enema' and 'enigma' confused. I was corrected when I told my father that my uncle was an enema.

So what are some of YOURS? Share, discuss!

1) About 500 years BEFORE Christ, in Athens during the Golden Age of Pericles.

2) About 500 years AFTER Christ, anywhere in the Western world.

Here's a clue: One of these was civilized, cultured, and intellectually stimulating. The other was degraded, barbaric, and miserable. Tell me, WHY is this so?

I see how you heterophobes FLAME heterorealistic people who correctly view the insertion of one's penis into the rectum of another as a perversion. You say "HEY this forum is only for people who LIKE gays." But in the "real world" you enter EVERY area of normal people's lives with the message "we're here, we're queer, get used to it."

SO I just want to tell you, that you need to get used to a regular dose of REALITY in this forum. I'm sure there's tens of thousands of people that feel this way.

HETEROPHOBES ARE A VERY SLIM MINORITY and 99.9% of america wishes you would just STFU already.

Nonetheless, get used to seeing posts like this in "your" forum, since you have for decades not cared WHO'S dinner table you crap on.

You're all a bunch of heterophobic hypocrites.
