You know, the ones who sing, preach or talk to the invisible person beside them.Does anybody else have this experience? It always seems that the seats are full and there's no where to move away from them.

It's not unusual for religious folks to dismiss the possibility of life arising spontaneously as a result of natural chemical processes, but we do know that amino acids, the building blocks of proteins in living organisms, are formed as a by-product of chemical processes that take place naturally in interstellar clouds of gas and dust. It is in the nature of atoms and molecules to bind together into more complex molecules in the presence of a source of energy - In this case, UV radiation. If amino acids can form spontaneously, by common chemistry, then why not more complex organic molecules? Why not, by chance, a self-replicating molecule? Why not, ultimately, life? Even if the chance occurrence of a self-replicating molecule is a very low probability event, what does that matter in a universe of a billion trillion suns and billions of years for chemistry to have its effect? And one such event might be all that's needed to kick-start life.

We live in fascinating times :-)

Hows your day going? Today on the way to work my tyre blew out and nearly caused quite a serious accident, i changed the tyre on my own (was quite proud of that!), then when i got to work my desk almost buckled under the weight of urgent work that came up (its friday for goodness sake!), then one of the blokes here chopped his finger off, now i've heard i may not get my passport back in time (i go on holiday in just over 6 weeks!).
So after my whinging, how are you all??? xxx

I have a very nonconventional form of spirituality. When I hear the word "God" I do not think of a big man with a white beard in the sky, or even any kind of concious being for that matter. Im pretty much athiest but I do believe in God. Just that God is all that exists and all of the laws that govern it are also God. What do you guys think of this. I definitely do not believe in a concious being that has created us and that we must worship it but I think that doing our part to keep the eco system thriving is what we are here to do.
