I don't get it. Black women had big breasts and big butts for years. Why is it when J.lo popped up, booty became cool? Why is it when Angelina became a actress, big lips were hot? But when a Black women is wearing these feautres it's considered unattracitve.

The world is like a ride at an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, 'Hey – don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride ...' And we ... kill those people. Ha ha, 'Shut him up. We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real.' It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because – it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

And we assume that duality is factual, isn't God the cause of the darkness as well? That being said, "without light, there can be no darkness", could this be true if God's light was removed from the equation?

I'm a college student, and I'm applying for an automotive credit card so that I can use it for at least a year and then use my reward points towards a new car....they have Ford and Volkswagen credit cards that counts towards new cars. The Honda credit card is just for parts you can't use them to gain points for a car rebate. I want a feul-efficient car, but I also want one that is reliable. Should I buy a Ford Focus, a Diesel Volkswagen Beatle or Jetta, or a Honda Civic. Ford's the cheapest. Diesel Beatle has the best gas mileage, and Honda Civic lasts the longest. I wanted the Honda, but I can't get a credit card that will count towards it. Does anyone know how many reward points it takes to even make a dent in the price.

Aren't Christians supposed to not worship idols and such? Isn't praying to a cross or having paintings of Jesus a form of idol worship? Wouldn't any religious symbol be considered an idol?

It is kind of a long story...

You see, I've one friend, James, who is gay, he has his friends, & I have others too. My other friends are all homophobic it seems & his friends seem to hates me and my friends because they always pick on them.

Neither know me & James are friend. I kind of always wanted to keep it that way, because if I lost my friends I would only have James... :'-(

Recently though, he said he wanted to be more than friends! Which I do admit I really want too. But I am scared about my friends reactions because if we did become more than just friends I'd have to tell them right? His friends would probably be upset with him too... & I do not want him to lose a lot of good friends because of me!

So I do not know what to do. I'm scared of both of our other friends reaction... But yet there is an old saying "Don't let love pass you by."

So I feel at the same time like I want to be more than friends & yet I am scared to death to too. How can I know what is right?

Let's assume that the majority of atheists and christians are good people although we know there are people on either side that just do not make their group look very good.

Atheists and Christians both live their lives, follow the rules (common sense or biblical depending your point of view) and if they do something wrong they both feel remorse and try not to do that something wrong again.

The core difference then lies in that Christians ask a spiritual being God/Jesus/Holy Spirit to forgive them for what they just did, while atheists feel bad and more or less forgive themselves.

Is this real difference? It seems such a small insignificant thing. We are all basically the same, so we should stop judging each other based on the difference within this one small point.

I mean Evil cult, trying to disturb people’s way of life & culture by converting them.
An example I can quote is Mother Theresa, whose dirty work has made a calm place into a war grounds for communal violence.
Do not reference me her helping ideology, it’s very obvious what she did.

The more I look at the questions and answers on here I continue to see people making the claim they are being forced by others to accept their ideas. Excuse me, but exactly who is standing there beside you forcing you to sit down at the computer.? Who is manipulating your fingers beyond your control so that you get on the internet and go to Yahoo Answers? Who is holding your head facing it toward the computer screen and forcing your eyelids to stay open and look at the computer and read the comments that you don't like? What is really cute, is that on top of accusing other people of forcing their ideas on you is the sarcasm, and demeaning comments. C'mon guys lets be reasonable, are all the news casters in the world forcing their opinion on you? Just because someone talks to you about something, is not forcing anything on you. That is even more so if you are the one putting yourself in a position where you know you are going to be reading and seeing ideas from other people.
