I'm a college student, and I'm applying for an automotive credit card so that I can use it for at least a year and then use my reward points towards a new car....they have Ford and Volkswagen credit cards that counts towards new cars. The Honda credit card is just for parts you can't use them to gain points for a car rebate. I want a feul-efficient car, but I also want one that is reliable. Should I buy a Ford Focus, a Diesel Volkswagen Beatle or Jetta, or a Honda Civic. Ford's the cheapest. Diesel Beatle has the best gas mileage, and Honda Civic lasts the longest. I wanted the Honda, but I can't get a credit card that will count towards it. Does anyone know how many reward points it takes to even make a dent in the price.
