I'm a college student, and I'm applying for an automotive credit card so that I can use it for at least a year and then use my reward points towards a new car....they have Ford and Volkswagen credit cards that counts towards new cars. The Honda credit card is just for parts you can't use them to gain points for a car rebate. I want a feul-efficient car, but I also want one that is reliable. Should I buy a Ford Focus, a Diesel Volkswagen Beatle or Jetta, or a Honda Civic. Ford's the cheapest. Diesel Beatle has the best gas mileage, and Honda Civic lasts the longest. I wanted the Honda, but I can't get a credit card that will count towards it. Does anyone know how many reward points it takes to even make a dent in the price.

Go with the vw. With gas prices being what they are the fuel efficiency is the most important thing you need to worry about.

you have to llok at this from a long term investment or short term savings.

The ford is the cheapest and if money is a concern right now or in a year this is what you should but. It does get decent gas mileage and will serve it's purpose for a couple years. However when you go to trade it in on your next car it won't have much resale value.

The VW will cost more now. It will save you money in fuel econemy over the next few years and will have better resale value at trade in time.

The honda will cost you a lot now. Only get average gas milage liek the focus. However it will also have good resale value later. So if you need to save money now go with the ford, if you want to save money and keep resale value go with the vw, and if you want to have good resale later and money is not an issue upfront do the honda.

Look into the points on these credit cards they might help you decide. They vary too much to help you there. Over all I would say a vw sounds liek your best choice. Plus that are sharp cars too.

To be a homosexual, is to be an AIDS recipient and you will eventually die a slow, painful, death....and then in the afterlife you will be separated from God for eternity and your soul will rot in hell. Do you really want this? Repent now! Christ loves you and will take you back or welcome you to his flock!

you are in the wrong place, unless the cars are your friends and you want to know which one is the best of them, then go for the better body and good looks.
