The world is like a ride at an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, 'Hey – don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride ...' And we ... kill those people. Ha ha, 'Shut him up. We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real.' It's just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because – it's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

Yes. I think of it this way. All the human beings and the plants and the animals are like the cells in one body. (one huge body admittedly) That includes all of us, even the people and animals we think are nasty, and if we hurt one other person or animal we are actually hurting ourselves-part of the larger body. Killing or wounding is like poking your own eye out on the cosmic scale.
I think we are a long way from being enlightened on this subject, but because people are questioning things more nowadays (particularly through the internet) I think we are starting to go in that direction. I hope we'll speed up our learning/awareness before it's too late. I have had an experience which proved to me that we are all one (No I wasn't on anything!) and the other party involved was aware of my revelation too!! I've told the story before on this site, so I won't go into it again. Difficult to explain in the words we have at our disposal anyway!
And I believe the world and the planets and stars in the universe are also like the cells in one even larger body, and are all necessary and in a constant state of change.

Here's one for you. It isn't the ride, it's the people on the ride. Do you just look out for yourself or do you look out for other people? Because this ride is just a taster. It's a test. The big ride is coming up, and to qualify you have to get through this one right. No selfishness, greed, hatred, jealousy, pride, spitefulness, prejudice allowed. If you ride for yourself, you fail. If you ride for others, you win, and the next ride goes on forever.

does this commentary include an undisputed belief in god? because without that, people only have the ride- the life we live. And they want that one ride to be the best it can be while they're admitted to ride. Wouldn't you, if you thought you only had one go? This makes it difficult to sacrifice one persons quality of life( surplus income) to benefit another, when it may seem like we're all out here alone, everyone for themselves. Human nature can be sad sometimes.

Nice idea - shame it was an awful lot to read though. I never thought the world was a rollercoaster ride, i always thought it was like the dodgems - when you least expect it, it hits you in the face.

And your question was ...?

I once heard someone say that life was like a freefall parachute jump... you could either scream all the way to the ground, or you could just enjoy the fall to Earth.
