No, not according to the Bible.
1 Corinthians 10: 20 No; but I say that the things which the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want YOU to become sharers with the demons.
2 Corinthians 4: 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.
Mathew 7: 22,23 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.
Psalms 83:18 18 That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

I think what you mean is: if their is a God/higher power do he/she/it recieve all of our prayers regardless?
Because everyone has such different ideas about God. The poster above me views the son of "God" as his "God" or at least main one.
Me I could best discribe my view God as niether male nor femalve but rather a univeral conciousness, the sum total of all knowledge and throught that exist.
So in answer to your question I do believe that all of our prayers make it to God regardless of religion... but that it is the actions in your life that truely matter to God.
Live a good life and keep your faith.

Sorry, but utterly and completely wrong.
There is only One True God, the one portrayed in the Bible.
Do some more research before you come up with a claim like that.
God bless!

I think you should go and study a little more about the myriads of other religions that exist and have existed in the past. Monotheism is a relatively new idea - Most religions involve multiple gods.

Not if one God says specifically not to pray to a statue. You know the whole graven image thing.

John 14:7- "I am the way, the truth, and the light. No man comes to the father, but by me."
That's what the Bible says, so I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. My God, the God, says you are wrong, and I would rather listen to him than to you. (No offense)

No we do not. There are not many doors to God, there is only one way, Jesus.
(You know, I really should stop answering these questions, because I never get picked as best answer in this category, but the truth has to get out someway, even though it's ruining my stats!)

i agree but with a slight difference. what if there were many gods that everyone prayed to while thinking they only prayed to one. and don't tell me i'm wrong because the bible says so. you were taught to believe one thing but that doesn't mean the bible is the only truth...it's just one part of it

No I don't see it that way at all. We are commanded to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Can't worship in truth to a statue..
