Last night I heard someone saying that the Bible prophecied that gas prices would increase dramatically. I don't remember the Bible specifically stating that. Did I miss something somewhere?

A friend of mine from india told me they have a special haj terminal airport at delhi which sits idle 9 months of the year and on a huge expense maintained by the govt. Also they take subsidies from the govt. to go for haj and the govt. gives it to them due to vote bank politics.
I know for a fact that muslims are supposed to do haj from their own money and it is not "Farz" on people who cannot afford it? Why then they take this charity from the govt. taxes mostly made up of taxes paid by people who are not even muslim? Why are there no guidelines issued to these muslims by the muslim authorities to refuse this charity from the indian govt and to pay for the Haj on their own?

I had a little get together at my place yesterday, it was an Avon party for all the local Avon ladies. The cheese ball made my stomach all upset, and I ran into the bathroom (which is next to the living room where everyone was gathered) and I sat down to relieve myself. Lets just say, the smell and noise were heard by ALL in the living room! I tried to play it off when I was done, I walked out to find everyone looking directly at me. They said nothing, but two ladies held their noses as I walked by. I dont know how to face these people again, they heard everything. Oh, I have this awful problem w/ groaning as I #2, I'm sure that did not help any. How can I face these people again, and kick this habit w/ making these grunting sounds as I , you know.

A few days ago, I read that a converted Muslim German teacher, has asked to go to school with her headscarf. First, it was not accepted. Then she said, nuns are wearing their dresses, then she found right, and now she can go to school with her headscarf.

Do you think, people should be able to go to school with their religious signs/dresses? Muslims with headscarf, Jews with Kippa, Christians with cross?..

Is there a difference for you, if it's a teacher or a student?

I realize that many would give their lives to save someone or for another reason, but if this is the biggest sacrifice, how many of you think this is much easier said than done.

Isn't it Matthew 7:1 about thalt shall not judge? I believe Jesus loved and tolerated all, but I've yet to see any of his followers do the same thing...instead they love to threaten you with going to hell if you don't believe as they do. Why do people who worship someone as peaceful as Jesus seem so angry at others??

a few of my white guys told me they wouldn't mind using black women for a good time but they wouldn't want everyone to know. I thought that was disrespectful and mean.
