I think that they should feel the pain, they give to the animals.

I think if we are going to have pets, they have the right to humane treatment. Unfortunately, since they cannot talk, call 911(in most cases), abuse for animals vs. people will always be easier to commit and harder to detect.
We live in a free society. It is our choice to keep a pet. But with freedom comes responsibility, and if one cannot own up to their responsibility, then they need to have it taken away and face the consequences.
In some ways, animal rights can go too far, though. It is one thing to protect them. It is another thing with many smaller pet shops lost to the big ones like Petco, to have dogs barking and wandering off their leashes and messing.
I also think our nation needs to outlaw Pit-bulls. They are too unpredictable, and their owners are irresponsible. Too many stories of people being mauled/killed.
There are people who are cruel to animals and people who use animals as yet another tool of passive-aggressive abuse toward other people.
I think Petco is a great example of this. What animal gives a krap about shopping?

I think that they are hurt confused and scared. They for some reason need to feel power and domination over something helpless and smaller than they. These people usually come back rounds of abuse and or neglect. The can seem very tough on the exterior, but tend to have emotional soft spots that are delt with in some show of outward violence. If you know someone with this problem, they need help. I know it's easier said than done, but at any cost they need to deal with their issues.

I think they are fearful and very hurt inside if they are feeling the need to hurt animals. By hurting animals it makes them feel like they are in control and powerful (these are false perceptions though). Because they have not healed their hurts inside from they're life, they falsely and unknowingly think that hurting animals makes them feel better. But those feelings are very temporary. It's a sad thing and we should pray for them rather than judge them.

they usually display a dissatisfaction with their own misery as in the life they are confined to, there are some cruelties to animals that I too can not bear to hear of, the animals are most likely defenseless and trusting . I'm sorry, I can not speak further today about this.

From what I have read, it is typically one of the first signs of a serial killer. It is their way of taking their frustrations out on a weaker being. And I agree, I despise them and believe that they deserve the same treatment.

People who pick on animals do so to feel superior. It's their own insecurites that make them feel the need to dominate something else... isn't this one of the signs of a killer.

I bet you're lying. I would guess you only care about the cute animals. What about the Orkin man? Do you despise him too?

I feel as sorry for them as the animals they abuse. They have to be the very lowest form of life, and they are dangerous to us too!

They have deep seated psychological problems probably brought on by one or more parent and that parent should be jailed and that person should be evaluated and treated for help.
