Isn't it Matthew 7:1 about thalt shall not judge? I believe Jesus loved and tolerated all, but I've yet to see any of his followers do the same thing...instead they love to threaten you with going to hell if you don't believe as they do. Why do people who worship someone as peaceful as Jesus seem so angry at others??

First of all, you're right, we shouldn't be judgmental of others. However, if someone is doing something totally against the Scriptures we sure don't have to approve either. We love the sinner, but hate the sin. If we judged everyone who didn't follow the Scriptures, we wouldn't have any friends at all, and as a Christian, I'm not perfect either. We are to love and encourage.
Remember Jesus loved and at the same time let people know who were in sin. "Go and sin no more" he told the woman at the well. He did acknowledge their sins, and then forgave them. He even got onto the religious leaders of His time, who were the worst. He didn't tolerate. He loved them, pointed out their sins, and forgave them, He never looked the other way when someone was sinning.
Angry at others? I think it's hard to see so much sin sometimes. We who read the Scriptures know what sin is, and it is everywhere. If we aren't in prayer all the time it's difficult to see everywhere all the time.

You're the last person I would think would be quoting the Bible. I've read some of your defensive answers to other questions, so I'm baffled as to why you even care what "we Christians" think about the subject at large anyway. By posing this question with the premise that all Christians are judgmental, leads me to believe you're only doing this for the sake of an argument. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, since I'm a Christian.
Matthew 7:1 does not say "thou shall not judge". Matthew 7 is referring to Christ's words while giving his sermons on the mount. "Judge not, lest ye be judged" was a direct message sent to those who stood in judgment of others while failing to look at themselves. His message was this: Don't look to others' flaws when you have flaws of your own that you need to work on. If you do so, you will be judged just as harshly.
So I ask: are you not doing the same? And if you are, by your own testament from Matthew 7, why worry if other people judge you? Christ Himself said that they will also be judged accordingly.
You have only to answer to God. Not man.

Ok I may be igniting some fires by saying this but really ..well I am just honest. Most christans have a holier than though attitude. They think that everyone should be all about "God" EVERYTHING is about "God" to them they think everyone should follow thier beilives and if u dont you aren't good enough for them and ur bad or trashy to them..and this is why I hate organized religion its so corrupt, and very hipocritcal too. Though shall not judge , but they dont consider it judging they have tunnel vision and arent open minded they just focus on what is good or right in the" eyes of the Lord" and if Its not to do with the "Lord" they turn a blind eye to it r think its evil...Thats why I love being agnostic I am not in any religous group but I belive in a higher power or powers... Also what they dont realize is the bible was rewritten by man...and how do they know things werent exaggerated or made up?

also for those saying she is judgemental shes not judging shes asking why they judge shes not sterotyping or casting stones .....

I very much like the quote by Gandhi, but it is true that many Christians are taught to judge others, which is of course opposite of Jesus' teachings. Not all Christians are judgemental though. Look at Mother Teresa. Real Christians have to believe that others can go and sin no more, and leave the afterlife to the one that made it.

I have never met anyone who is not judgmental...Christian or not.

Some people judge people everyday all day, but others may only judge others every now and then.
I think it's only human to judge. Is it the right thing to do? NO, but it happens because it's human nature to be imperfect.
Jesus, on the other hand, was perfect in the bible, but his followers aren't perfect.
If Christians were perfect, they would not be human.

Can't you find anything else to discuss besides pointing out human imperfections in others?

Sounds like you're running into the wrong people. Watch people who say they are Christians nowadays, You never know who is and isn't. I don't know where you are going to find these holly rollers, but I go to a penacostel church and it doesn't seem like they judge anyone at all. They just give you words to make you feel at peace... Like God bless you, Jesus loves you, God put you here for a special reason and to just pray, God always listens. Stuff like that. We all know what we've done wrong in this world and we all know what the consequences are for doing wrong. But it's between only you and God and NO ONE has the right to judge you. Don't sweat it with them people, they think they are doing right. Just keep him in your heart and worry only about you!!!

Yes, but you take it out of the full idea that was written; it says don't judge unless you wish to be judged in the same manner. (see verse 2)

Just as in other areas of life, there are beginners (immature) and experts (mature). I hate to use those words, but I'm tired tonite lol. The "beginners" don't quite understand that you cannot threaten someone into loving God. They simply don't understand what fear of the Lord is.

They do not realize that there is so much more to their salvation (and yours) than going to hell; that is the least of my concerns. It's a sort of non-issue with the more mature ones. We know that the best way to witness to others is to love them with the love of God. :)

Often when a person studies the bible and heads to church to listen to the priests and pastors give a sermon, the focus is on sin. Too often is the Christian soul caught up in avoiding sin, as opposed to living in virtue. The bible will tell you, as will your Church I'm sure, that the sinful soul will seek Christ out of the fear of God. After that, the Christian community is supposed to shake that fear from their heart and replace it with the seeds of virtue. As the harvest grows, the sinner adapts to a life with the LORD; they become a person of humility, temperance, love, compassion, and so forth. The problem here is that we no longer listen to the true teachings of Jesus; we are caught up with things that his teachings never intended. Christendom is slowly becoming another casualty of worldly evils. Fear not however, because those who follow Christ's words as he intended them are still there, and will never be lost to the world. Love thine enemy as thy friend.

P.S. Ignore those who have responded to you calling you judgemental and remember god's mercy. The next time someone trespasses upon you, offer them your hand and walk with them into the arms of Jesus. God Bless You.

It is not the Christian who judges but the Holy Spirit and when He judges you and I there is no mistaking the Law and who is the Judge over all. most defend their life style by this very statement you give, if you do not want to take my word for it then will you at best get to know Jesus personally.

Well, you're part way there. You are learning about Jesus.
Good job.
He's the One Who matters, anyhow. The rest of us are just His followers, and we are all sinners, just like you.
You know human beings are not perfect, and so does Jesus. If He is able to forgive and forget, shouldn't you be, as well?
Keep on learning about Jesus, and He will lead you into a deeper understanding and a deeper love. Before you know it, you might be one of His followers, too!
