acually I've seen all types of interracial couples - but the most common seems to be the black male with a white female -

In my own experience, I have noticed more of situation (a) in rural America. However on the contrary, I have seen much more of the opposite in urban America.
Being a native of NYC, I have seen white men with every ethnic and racial group of women imaginable.

Why do so many Asian girls date white guys and usually ugly white guys? What's up with that? Why do white guys(especially college guys) hate on black guys so much when they know they can't hear them? I'm biracial and the white guys can't always tell.
That crap is not cool. Who cares. It's more white girls because being an alpha still can sometimes count for something in this world. Maybe the white girls just notice these particular black guys are sexy as hell and don't care what people think.
O.K...How about this
Why do so many pretty white girls date weak white men for years? Ever notice these are the same women years later who are all over the brothas?
Maybe it's because you have programmed women to want money....Maybe sometimes a white women just needs to be blasted! I'm not saying the white guys can't , but definitely not the weak *** little rich boys..that's why they go looking for a black man!

Why is it only an interracial relationship when one of the people is black and not let's say asian. I think women are generally more accepting so they don't let race get in the way. Women are generally attracted to more than just bodily characteristics. We're also attracted to guys for other reasons like having jobs, having personalities being loyal and so forth. Not that any race is better at this than another. This could be sexist I'm not sure. Oh well.

I don't know. I have a friend who is an African man, I am a white female and when we go out to lunch together, or just leave the building together, I notice we get a lot of looks from white men, so maybe a better question is, why does this bother white men so much?

it's more acceptable i guess. people have just gotten used to the idea of a black name with a white woman. i dont think people like it very much when a white man steps out side of his race and dates a black woman. it's mostly frowned upon. i'm in an interracial relationship with a white guy

I think your question best posed was "Why are we media exposed to interracial couples being a white girl and black male?"
Movie demographic staticians suggest such interracial coupling is more a greater public turn on; one that likely nets more movie box office/DVD rental revenues.
However, we're now seeing that change in Hollywood.

Is it? It seems to be more frequently the other way around. Or are you perhaps just overly sensitive to who the white girl is with and don't notice quite as much when it's a black girl?
