What about the people who study the scriptures who beleive we are all god. Autobiographies are nice, even though it may seem we are a little schizophrenic at times...lol If you want to really know the bible read every other religions sacred texts and the bible will make more sense. P.S. Don;t forget the mystical texts and gnostic texts also. The truth is easy to see when you are looking for it. Science found the truth, and that is something we can prove. It is all around you and all you have to do is give up fear. Religion may seem like a defintion of selling your freewill to a salesman because no one ever bothers to find out for themselves anymore. Walk the path don't read about it.

The Bible is the word of God. Why do you think it could be a response to God? Did God ask a question that we needed to write a book to answer it? I don't believe so.

It is the word of God.
It states in all over the place inside and out.
The problem is it was writen down by men and that allows people to turn it around, point that out and with a little push get you tatally confused as to it's validity.
Trying to understand it and learn from it in order to put it to use in your life is hard enough without this. And then there is all the compitition.
But it is not being forced upon you. You have to chose it and dedicate yourself to the task then like most of the great philosophies they say it does work. And don't forget you must find one that works for you. Sorry! I didn't say it was easy because it is not. And it does take up a tremendus amount of time and so expect this.

2 Timothy 3:16 says: Â "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness"
So, the Bible is inspired of God. So it is his word to mankind.
