We know from Heb. 9:27 of the PARTICULAR JUDGMENT. And we know from Matthew 25:31-32 of the GENERAL JUDGMENT. We also know, from the writings of the early Christians, that all believed in purgatory, as taught by the apostles, until the revolt sixteen centuries removed from Christ.
Since Rev. 21:27 teaches that nothing unclean will enter the presence of God in heaven, and St Paul teahces that, if a righteous man's work fails the test, "He will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire" (1 Cor 3:15), my question for you is, where did Christ go when He preached to the spirits in prison between His death and resurrection?
