Our bodies decay and die. But our souls dont disappear just like that.
well this is how i see it. I believe that we are here to learn lessons.....lessons like....forgiveness, value, love, foolishness of anger and resentment etc. Its all continous learning. Your body is like a vehicle that carries the soul. When the vehicle grows old or is damaged in a severe or even accidental way and no longer works the soul leaves it. We choose when we come back. It all depends if you have learned the lessons or not. If you have not learned the lessons then you return....if you have then you might return to help others with their learning. We know when the time is up and you will be able to accept your death. When you have time, when you have had the time to rest and re-energize your soul, you are allowed to choose your re-entry back back into physical state. The soul never dies.....only our bodies do. The soul is immortal and lives on forever. If you are still interested...there is an excellent book that explains alot better than i do. It really makes you think. Its called....MANY LIVES MANY MASTERS by BRIAN L. WEISS, M.D.

Well i do believe there is life after death, now what happen to our bodies when we pass away, that biology... we are most likely to be 3 feet under ground and eaten by worms. Now, what i believe is life after death is far more than a body... is the soul, what you are spiritually, what you can't get with money and material stuff

Is there life before death? First we must be clear what we mean by life. Then we must be clear by what we mean by us. What actually are we. Are we our bodies? Once clear on these two points the question actually becomes meaningless. Its like asking why does two and two make the sky?
Life is everything therefore including death. Death is part of life like a spoke is part of a wheel. But death is not the end of life. It cannot be. Life is eveything and always.

Of course there is life after death... I believe you die and go up to the gates of St Paul, and there you are given a huge book saying all the things you've done right or what you've done wrong, and they go through it all with you, and then you go to this big long table, one end is God, the other end is Satan, and Gods end is light and friendly and full of laughter, and Satans end people are starving and fighting and it's cold and dark. And so you sit at the table where you have been put (according to how you lived on earth) and after you've been there for a while then you can go back down to earth and be reborn, but with no memory of dying.
I've got it all sorted you see!

I believe that once you are dead, you are dead. Death is like a sleep with no dreams or feelings. it is probably one of the most peaceful states, considering you are no longer worried about money or your job or anything anymore. I also believe that once this world has been cleansed there will be a massive resurrection of all the dead and there will be a chance for them to learn about Jehovah God. This explanation comes from the Bible at Ecclesiastes 9:5, where it says the dead are conscious of nothing at all. If you want more information, please contact me. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

There is no life after death. We will live on in the memories of our relatives & friends - that's all.
We either get cremated to ashes or get buried & our bodies rot. As for the soul - it dies with our last breath.

Our bodies die of course, but we are not just a body, we also have a spirit and a soul. These live on after we die, depending on whether or not we born again by God's Spirit is whether or not we go to heaven or hell. For more information go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/seeking_reality

Our bodies turn to dust. If you are a Christian, as Paul said, to be absent from the body is to be present in the Lord

We will all live for eternity, just depends upon where you decide to live. Heaven or hell, both are real places whether you believe or not. Our bodies will return to dust just what they were made from, but Jesus will resurrect our bodies and give us new ones.
