I think according to christians they have to have accepted Jesus as their savior before they died. So if any didn't they are SOL according to christians.
Ghandi, Malcom and Elvis are probably better off where they are anyway. Roman Catholics... who cares.
But the point is mute since there is no heaven.

According to Christians only the Roman Catholics will be in heaven. Unless Elvis was Christian, he will be in heaven if he was (according to Christians).

1. No. (Works do not save)
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
2. No. (By his fruits)
Matthew 3:8
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
3. No. (see #1 - John 14:6)
4. Some Catholics have come to real faith in Jesus and are saved. (They need to leave the Catholic church) Most will go to hell because they trusted in their good works (#1) and their 'church' to save them.
There are lots of former Catholics who saw the light and truly accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Goodness doesn't get you into heaven. You are saved by faith by the grace of God which is a free gift, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8

I cannot say because GOD looks at the heart of people and the light that was given to them. Only GOD knows how much light is given to each individual and where there heart is.
As far as any of the above mentioned are in heaven, I will say NO!!!

This is why Christianity is garbage. Being a good person doesn't get you into heaven, but if you're a serial rapist/molester/killer and you accept Jesus as your Savior you get to go. Gimme a break.

Only Christians will be in heaven. Ghandi wasn't so sadly he won't be there. All other's it just depends on wheter they are Christian or not. (not all Catholics are Christian)

A person has to accept Jesus to go to heaven, not do good deeds. But good deeds are a good to add on to your life to make it a little more meaningful.
