remember when you were a kid, you heard that you can be anything you want to be? is that true? or are there limits to that. what if you wanna sing for a living but dont have the gift of voice? or what if you wanna play a sport but are super clumsy and not good at it? what if your desire to do something is so great and never leaves and you would give anything to be able to make at least a part time living at it? just curious what others belive.

No. When I was younger I just wanted to be a wife and mom. I suck at both. Maybe I forgot to wish that I would be good at being a wife and mom. I don't believe you can be whatever you want anymore. I did when I was little. It was a nice thought to base some teen aged dreams on. I do believe in destiny though. Some are destined to have great lives and live out their dreams. If everyone got what they wanted out of life then I don't think there would be so many people obsessed with the lives of stars!

Only to a certain extent. If you want to be a nicer person, yes. If you want to be straight and you are gay, yes. However, if you want to be a successful buisness owner, but money slips through your fingers, no. Ever wonder why ultra skinny guys never play football? Or while big burly women aren't ballerinas? It's because neither is physically able to do something. A mentally challanged person will never discover a cure for tuberculosis. You do what you can with what you have. It's that simple. Accept the fact you can't do everything, but do what you are able to as best as you can.

Not anymore, but it is a good idea to fill a kids head with hopes and dreams because you never know some do make it a reality

No, because as much as I want, I cannot be the mythical beast that is called a centaur. But I can be one online. My desire has always been to puzzle people, but I'll never do that, either.

I believe if you want it BAD ENOUGH then you can have it, whatever it may be. But if you just want it just because....then i dont believe you really wanted it in the first place. You REALLY/BADLY have to want something in order to have it.

I think it can be done if you have enough money, or sources of money. For schooling and such...then you can do whatever you want really.
