My boyfriend grew up wealthy so he is very big on ettiquette. I believe there is a time and place for everything. At nice restaraunts there is no problem. When it comes to fast food, steak 'n shake, and pizza places we have our differences. This guy can't even eat at Taco Bell without putting his napkin neatly on his lap. He also usually makes passive aggressive comments about how im a slob or something. It gets to the point where he is being rude and offensive and I dont even feel comfortable eating with him. At the same time, I don't want people in Mcdonalds looking at me like im crazy because im acting like im in a 5 star restaraunt. He grew up with a very condescending father and I think part of the reason he does it is to feel authoritative. But should I just be myself and tell him he's being rude and ruining my dining experience or should I follow suit until I'm perfect enough for him. This is something that really shouldnt be a problem but I have to deal with it all the time.

They are going against God's will and using religion to control and manipulate people and take their money. It seems to me that these people are using power and control to exert influence and brainwash innocent people. It seeems evil to me. Why can't people just accept faith and humanity and help themselves and others in a non judgemental fashion. These fanatical people are ruining the reputation of genuine people.

I have visited these coutries and seen it all. buddhist monks openly declare that eating meat is a sin and they never eat meat. In sri lanka during vesak (buddhas birthday) a cow was saved from the slaughter house only to be captured by buddhist monks who secretly killed it and transported the meat in to the temple through the back door.
Why so much hypocracy among religious people?

It is really quite sad that Islam is misunderstood in the west, if it is, why don't these people study more about it like they do in America, and well of course those people actually end up becoming muslim, so think twice! My question is if Islam is (what you people might think) violent, evil, cruel, then why do so many people become Muslim after studying the truth...what do you think? Check out this site, you'll ve suprised to see how many people have converted to islam from christianity and what they think about it:

www.turntoislam.com

i mean come on, lets face it, nobody turns to hinduism (haha) and only a minority turn to christianity, and i think everyone has the freedon to choose their faith, and its usually islam which is picked.

im an atheist but my mom is trying to brainwash me. i never thought she would turn crazy and start talking like her mom. she thinks that everything has something to do with angels like if she loses something like the phone or a button when she finds it she always tells me how reliable angels are and she thanks them. but now i told her something when i was drunk and i dont remember what it was now she thinks im posessed and is trying to make me wear a cross everyday but i take it off 5 minutes later. it is uncomfortable to be in the same room with her she is acting like her mom and i hate that old lady to death. shes now trying to make me see a priest. im not going. does anyone else think shes crazy?

Since Darwin answers many more questions than the Bible, and has so much more empirical data, and why does Darwin have to share the stage with Creation, when Creationists main argument is not fact, but faith?

Is it possible to survive living as a hunter/gatherer anywhere in modern Britain? This would mean surviving only on wild plants and animals (no poaching farm animals or stealing veg from peoples gardens!).

Why do either have to be true? Why does thought predate existence? (it doesn't). The Big Bang Theory was created by a Catholic Monk. This is why the Catholic Church is comfy with the big bang. Think about this proposition? The normal state of things is existence. It has always existed. If this was not the case, existence would not be possible at all. Thought is a by-product of existence. Universal Conciousness, while awesome, is itself a by-product of material existence and is just the sum total of all conciousness. Evolution is a flawed, linear idealism and does not explain the greater mysteries of our existence, such as the megaltihic ruins. Why is it mandatory for things to be created or evolve? Space is not a void which contracts and expands, it is a limitless ocean with tides and is full of life. Infinity has no beginning nor end. Some things just are. It's actually not that hard to comprehend, just hard to digest and accept. Accept the truth and avoid petty religious squabbles.
