if your an athiest, what are your intentions in Religion & Spirituality? If you believe there is no God, then my life is not worse by believing in him. So, what is the cause you are fighting for. You want the choice to believe what you will, but don't want to give that same right to any one else. So, what is your cause?

I think traditional hanzi are better. EAST 東, I can picture the SUN 日 rising in the east behind a TREE 木, but I can't picture that with the "simplified" hanzi 东. I can picture an EYE 目 over TWO LEGS儿 as SEEING見, but not with the "simplified" one 见. I can picture the chassis of a CAR with 車, but I can't picture anything with the "simplified" one 车. I can name numerous examples, the tradiotional hanzi may be more strokes than the "simplied" hanzi, but at least you can picture the thing you are talking about.
Why do they called them "Simplified hanzi"?

it seems that everytime you ask a question in here people get supersensitive about it? get a life people, people make fun of other people all of the time, wen you go and see a stand up comedian and he/she singles one person out you dont get mad with him you all laugh about it, so dont be so touchy, get a life and get a sense of humour, i dont condone being nasty but a joke is a joke, have some fun if you dont like my questions then dont answer them, dont make statements that in the end only highlite your own lack of sense of humour!!!! I discovered my roommate is a stripper by some Nancy Drew like work (wasn't hard) I tried to tell her I knew and I don't judge her for it, but I don't like being lied to. I am confused because is this my business or not?? I think it is since it's just plain safer if I know where she is and how to reach her, but I don't want to drag something she is obviously wanting to keep secret into the light.

Im not sure It will be easy but wont it be cool to blow fire, have wings to fly, super vision, razor sharp claws, whiplike tail, scary horns, can eat fish instad of fish not just cow also immune to the elements, also most viruses due to reptilian blood and invunerable to most weponry.

I was talking to my friend and his fiance (who were about a month away from their wedding), and I mentioned that I was at a wedding recently where the couple rubbed a few people the wrong way.
Basically, they didn't go from table-to-table as a couple, thanking people for "Joining us today", "Sharing their special day", or just plain "Showing up". It was an average-sized wedding, by the way. . .maybe even on the small side.
My friend's fiance then told me that they're going to have no time to do that either, and not to expect it from them.
Do you think the couple (the one that didn't greet each table) showed poor form in any way, or are some people just way too sensitive?

She constantly degrades other culture's foods in particular and will make vomity noise when I'm trying to enjoy my chinese. She'll comment about music videos and why "black people always have to have sex in their videos" (I mention Will Smith's MIB video featured tons of sex and she didn't get it)
