I came up with this through my own reflection and a great deal of theological and philosophical study, and partly as a result of an out of body, near death experience (I was actually dead for a short time). I was brought up in a religious setting and believe I was asleep when I was a believer.

Maybe you're too foolish to know that you're foolish and risking your soul. Maybe your karma isn't really karma but just a five letter word that keeps clanking around in your head. Maybe your batteries are dying and your beam of light is going out. Who's going to light your way then, sucka??

I agree! I think some people dont believe in themselves enough to live their life their own way, so choose to live by "the book". There is no proof of God, it just makes some feel better and gets them thru the day. If I choose to take my fate in my own hands, and live my life as a decent human being, is that wrong? No. And, if in the end, there is only 1 god, and I did decent on this planet, I think he will let me slide for not praying and worshiping him every day. They say he forgives... I'll take my chances and live life my way.

if you are happy, then go with it. I am christian, and if you chose not to believe what i believe, it does not affect me. You have been given the knowledge, so it's on your shoulders now. Its not our responsibliity to make the decision for you. If people bother you with their religious jargon, dont come into religious questions. maybe, you seek more than you know if your in here.

Because Karma will not save your soul and get you to heaven. Only Jesus can do that. Please get a bible and read 1st Timothy 1:14-15. Then read the book of John.
