Tim, the thing most people believe is that our bodies have souls. That is a wrong statement. The soul is who you are, the body is what your soul have. And at no time can the soul be harmed or endangered in anyway.
However, it does keep being born again and again into bodies in order for you to continue to uplift yourself in ultimate readiness for the merging with the Supreme.

Why do you automatically believe you have a soul? Gods and God has been around in various forms since man began. It was always because we couldnt explain natural phenomena...and so we try to assuage a God to circumvent bad things happening or to ask for good things to happen.

Praying to someone we think is in control of the order of things, including ourselves, gives solace of sorts because it gains us back a meagre amount of control back.......place it on someone else so we dont feel so emotional....we let it go for GOD to decide what is right.

Trouble is...science has explained so many things, how things happen and why. STILL we cling to belief in a higher power. We cling to that because we have a survival mechansim too.......it kicks in so hard that we cannot believe that after we die we no longer exist. We MUST go on in some form...ie the soul because if we dont, what is the point of living in the first place?

Mankind has survived for millions of years...in various forms leading up until today...pre the knowledge or fashion of Jesus. All those fears we had have been answered to some degree. We still need to reinvent a God because we are still scared of death. Given we all come from different parts of the globe and have different influences from our parents.....we cannot help having different Gods or belief systems. If there were no belief systems at all......we would be a very scared and depressed bunch of humanity......or we'd be liberated and own our own feelings totally.

Believe what you want to honey, we al need to do that or the magic goes out of our lives......the highs of special ocassions, milestones, wonderment and having SOMETHING sacred to you...life is boring without basis or goals. Soul is something you lose when youve passed on to nonexistence.....but if you have a loved someone left behind, they will hold on to the memory of you and the essence of you will remain...until those people no longer exist of course.

Your soul has and never will be in danger...because you are you and you will always be you....if it never exists again or becomes another form of energy.....your thoughts, and brain connections, are what make you YOU regardless of the influences effecting the atoms of your being here at this time.

And when you see that answers will be look like dancing than you know that its not your sould its thier brains that are in danger.
Therefore GOD and danger exist.

What is a soul anyway? Have you ever seen your or anyone else's soul? Maybe the only thing in "danger" is human intelligence if people keep going around preaching this crap!

Your beliefs are different than many people. The truth lies within your heart. If you know what you believe is wrong, then it is wrong. If you believe in evil, then you will live your life in hell. See, is all what you believe in. If you think evil is cool, then be prepared. I am no one to tell you what to believe, but deep inside of you lies the answer. I just wish you the best in this life and the after life.

If you are sincere about wanting forgiveness of you sin and humble your self and pray believing that God will forgive you He can and I believe that He will.

He knows the very intents of your heart. You can lie to and deceive me but you can't deceive Jesus Christ.

Any attempts to deceive man or Christ are sins. Do not be foolish and risk your own soul.

Because I wouldn't hold the belief if I thought it was wrong!

Neither would you. Duh.

People who hold religious beliefs do so b/c they think they're right. IF they are right, then your soul may very well be in danger.

BTW, you both can't be right if you hold contradicting views.

Thier God is no more powerful than your own God...
I'm assuming you are speaking of the Christian faith in that your soul is in danger because you do not believe thier God...
If thier God was so powerful they wouldnt have to spend all of thier time and energy trying to get people to believe in what they believe... thier God would have already taken care of non-believers.

Congratulations. If your belief system works for you, then I am an arrogant, annoying piece of deviltry to think my ways are better than yours.

Let's go have a latte and discuss World Cup.
