I think I understand your question. Why listen to some guy? How about listen to the Bible? If someone tells you somethiung contrary to the Bible, they are not telling the truth, or you have misunderstood them. If that didn't answer your question, email me.

This question is unanswerable. We have no idea what Jesus said or didn't say. The earliest books of what later became the New Testament were written decades after his death, by authors with various agendas of their own, then transcribed over and over by lay scribes who either intentionally or accidentally made thousands of errors, and later by professional scribes, usually monks, who did the same. Our earliest surviving copies are in Greek, from the fourth century, and have been "edited" extensively. There is no way to verify anything in those books as authentic. This is true for any issue, not just this one.

The Mosiac Law died when Christ did. But some its aspects and laws are indeed, binding to Christians. The apostle's did a good job of passing that down to us. I'm sorry to have to break this to you, but Jesus said in Matthew that fornication and adultery are traits of the wicked. The apostles further acknowledged that those things had to be stopped and that repentance and remorse is necessary.

Lev. 18:22Â “‘And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing."
How do you like this trans. with 'detestable'?
Regarding Jesus doing away with laws: Mt.5:17Â “Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I came, not to destroy, but to fulfill; 18Â for truly I say to YOU that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for one smallest letter or one particle of a letter to pass away from the Law by any means and not all things take place. 19Â Whoever, therefore, breaks one of these least commandments and teaches mankind to that effect, he will be called ‘least’ in relation to the kingdom of the heavens. As for anyone who does them and teaches them, this one will be called ‘great’ in relation to the kingdom of the heavens."

Jesus was the fulfillment of the last Old Testament covenant. That means it was complete; over. He formed a new covenant with man, which is the Church He established and told us to hear.

No He didn't and no you're not allowed to pick and chose.I am a christian but I sometimes get disgusted with "pick and chose Christians." Those who say it isn't wrong are fooling themselves.

it is my understanding that when jesus died he wiped the old law away..... he became the new law.......and his commandment is to love the lord your god with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself.... its that simple...but people because of their hangups want to put words in his mouth thus creating their own god.... well, thats what i think
