"But unto the Son he saith, 'Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom" (Heb. 1:8).

In context, this verse is clearly speaking of Christ and calling him God. It quotes Psalm 45:6, an Old Testament prophesy of Christ: "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre". Jesus Christ continued to be God even after He had also taken upon Himself human nature at the virgin birth. It is His kingdom you are trying to enter. The scepter stood for the king's authority. Christ holds the sceptre, and you may only enter His kingdom in the way that He provides (See Matt. 22:8-14

but I don't *get* the whole gay pride thing. I mean, I'm straight. I like men, whooooooptie doooo! Who cares! There is a lot more to me than who I like to flirt and mate with. If being gay doesn't matter, why make it such a big deal? Seems to me a lot of this is just being provocative and trying to make fundamentalists of all religious sects mad. It doesn't make me mad, I honestly don't give a sh*t if someone is gay anymore than I give a sh*t if someone is another race.

So do you care about it? I know I don't!!! I'm like "Congratulations!" lol TMFI. lol I don't drive around with a "married and proud" sticker on my car. lol

"If your a real Christian you wouldnt ______" add anything. Lie, steal, cheat, divorce, curse, be homosexual, drink, etc.

Why the assumption real, faith believing Christians cant make mistakes, use their free will to make a choice, accept the consequences and live their lives. REAL Christians who sin, and can admit to it, to themselves, to God, to others, don't they deserve respect as they do not sin, AND try to hide it, making themselves hypocrites?

Don't hate the sinner hate the sin. So I'll target it directly. What is it with ppl suddenly wanting rights or becoming proud about thier sexuality. God said it was wrong, nature said its impossible. Don't tell me you're born with it, I think you let it go to far. I'm a woman and I've had a lesiban friend and she could never explian why she "went over". A guy i asked, in school, said he was born with it. I think that's a lie,too. I have three brother's and slowly watching them grow i don't hear them suddenly having a crush on their favorite action heros(currently the Nija turtles, Naruto & X-men ) I want the truth, the real reason. In a way i know some of you are ready to bash me....Another instinct says that some of you are going to pull that "because I can" trick. Either way it won't satisfy me. Maybe nothing will.

The same Holy Spirit is both Christ's Spirit, and God's Spirit. Do you have the Spirit of Christ? He will come into your heart too when you are born of the Spirit (John 3:3-7, 14-18).
