I hear it all the time, but no one ever points one of these kids out to me.
Is there a link so I can see an Emo Kid? What is Emo Rock? Give a band name as an example.

Emo comes from emotional. Emo is commonly related to a person who "cuts" or is deeply depressed. But that's not the case. Emo is a person who is very emotional and not afraid to show it. They express themselves deeply through their music, clothing, and overall appearance. A typical emo (a guy emo) wears tight pants. (similar to what a girl would wear) They usually have their hair cut in a way that it Will cover one of their eyes in front, and be very short in back. They also will usually wear heavy eyeliner. I'm a Emo girl and i wear a lot of black, and my hair is also very dark. Like the guys I wear dark eyeliner as well. I hardly ever worry bout fashion, i usually just pick out a cool t-shirt. A good Emo band is either "30 Seconds To Mars", and "Panic! At The Disco"

an emo kid is someone who is very emotional, and doesn't mind expressing it in front of others. It is originally derived from the band scene in Washington D.C. where bands with loud music, and expressive performances could be seen. My Chemical Romance is the most famous "emo" band, but it is debated whether they are emo or not.

emo kids are just a version of depressed goths. Emo Bands are bands with emotional songs like I want you back as my girlfriend type of bands.

There are different meanings to some people. thingk of an emo something like a goth. An emo really though is a depressed person who harms themselves e.g. cuts their wrists. Music can be loads of things. rock/heavy/metal/depressing rock ect...

(Thank you for asking this question. I have seen many items on ebay listed as "Emo Punk" but to me they looked like old tshirts that have been waiting in someone's garage since the 70's. So one gets "in touch" with their 70's side?)

a emo kid is a kid who gothic but more deeply with their emotions they also (if very depressed) might hurt themselves (like cutting their wrist)
