Asked to be raped! I'm sorry but that is traumatizing (is that how you spell it?) for a 13 year old! Now I'm kinda scared of America and a little prejudiced about Americans ( I know you all aren't rapists just cause I met some creep that was but still...) There was a man from a lost pple who found himself adrift in a raft. His culture had told him that inside him there was only a big void..that only what he could see was the real him. His raft roughly crashed to shore and he was hurt badly. He couldnt understand how his inward void could hurt so deeply. His rescuers rushed him to hospital which he never knew existed. He was deeply frightened as they xrayed him and offered to bind his wounds. They told him of bones broken and a broken wounded heart from THE FALL. He argued with them and called them liars..shouting " I only believe I am what I see outwardly. This pain is not real..its simply my imagination and yours. Im a realist. You should be to. Theres nothing in our insides. Its all ur silly myths, ur dreams, ur imaginationz ". The pple watched him cry and hold his body and shake as he shouted and wondered how such pain came from things that are fake and lies. the sales people always say hi and ask how your doing? and when you leave they say goodbye. I wish i could just go shop in peace. It's not like they are being rude or anything, it's just frustrating to have to walk in to 50 stores and have to hear hi, how are you, and I say 50 times, i'm fine.

Does anyone else find that annoying?

What if those thoughts were put there by external forces?Anger,Hate, jelousy,gossiping,paranoia(most of us are to a certain extent!)and all the other incessant thoughts which tumble around in our minds until they are filed away somewhere within.Would that mean we would all be spiritual beings of the highest degree?

Many people said of course Christians sin. So, why cant homosexuals be Christians? Their sin, is no greater than any other sin, they are equal in Gods eyes. And before you give me the abomination thing, their are 7 abominations listed in the bible, a lying tounge, etc....so that cant be it. Why do so many assume a homosexual can not be a Christian, guilty of sin, just like ALL the rest of us?

how do you keep your self confidence up when you move to a new place and find that most of the people around you are smaller in both size and stature....I am a size 22 and most of the women here are between 4 to 10.....how can you keep that little nagging negative voice from bothering you and getting you down?

I think reading the bible is good advice for atheist/non-christians so you can see how stupid it is.

It has all the parts of the bible that is cruel and violent in one list, all the contradictions, all the things it says about science and history, etc.

My family is planning on moving back to england after 28 years living in the United States. I'm thinking about joining them but after reading some posts regarding "yanks" I was wondering honestly how the average Brit feels about us.
