First of all, guys can have sex with guys without being gay. You're only gay if you are attracted to the guys. (Which is probably true in this case) And ANYONE who believes everything that the bible says and believes in God is a Christian. It doesn't matter if they are serial rapists or anything, they are still Christians. They are just really bad ones who sin a lot. I guess if these PRIESTS ask for forgiveness, they will be forgiven. To be a christian or a priest one does not need to be a pedophile, but to be a christian some one can be a homosexual or a pedophile.
Not every pedophiles are homosexuals, according to the numbers from the FBI most pedophiles are heterosexual white male between the age of 16-50 yrs old. Those numbers are factual.
The reason they like little boys is probably boys are more quiet than girls and less likely to repot sexual abuse to the authority.

I think that the priests that you speak of are of the Catholic persuasion. Not to rag on Catholics. It's just that their belief structure deems it necessary for Preists to live in total abstenance for the Lord, which according to the bible is not necessary. They increase the tempation, the level of difficulty by staying away from marriage which God created and blessed.

To answer your question. The term Christian means "little Christ" it was an insult originally but people realized that this is a good description of our faith. To be like little Christs. To be like Jesus. With Protestant Christianity, The people who broke away from the catholic church, they realized it's not about the rituals of the catholic church, but of the grace and love of God and that ALL have sinned and that Jesus died for us all. We don't receive a gift of grace by something that we do like lighting candles and praying hail mary's or the sacraments. It's about turning everything over to God and accepting that grace that he provided through Christ. Someone who would do something so horrific as sexually assaulting a child and proclaim to be Christian would come into a lot of arugment.

Just as someone who murdered, who stole, who commited adultery. They can turn away from that sin, repent and turn over a new leaf but if they are actively commiting that sin while saying they're Christian then most likely, they're just a wolf in sheeps clothing.

So probably not and I would encorage you not to base an evaluation of biblical Christianity on these sick people, God says to not put our faith in men, but to put our faith in Jesus and take hold of the love that he extended to us all.

It is indeed a sad thing when things like these happen. But the lesson we should all learn from this is that we should stop looking at men and instead fix our gaze on God!

Sure we listen to those who preach God's Word but eventhough we do this we should focus on God and not the one speaking. The reason for this si that if that person on the pulpit makes a mistake in life, your spirit will be affected as well.

Focus on God by reading the Bible everyday, praying and obeying His Word.

I think they are truly not Christians. First of all, God made the woman for the man. It's unnatural to deprive yourself of the physical contact with a spouse. The catholics deny themselves this natural gift from God, and they just can't handle it. So they molest boys. If they would just get married, then we wouldn't have this problem.

The priest was in position of authority and trust in which he threw away by molesting that child. he knew what he was doing and therefore he will have to answer to God. In the scripture that talks about grace and us sinning everyday, he covers us but God is the only one that knows the answer to that.
