Well ASSSUMING jesus did exist from the scriptures jesus didn't believe himself to be god and never intended to start a religion of people worshipping him. He would likely be pissed off if he was alive to see what they've done in his name thru Paul's teachings who didn't even know Jesus. If he even existed it's most likely that he was just a teacher as he thought of himself and as Peter, Mary Magdalene and other early followers of his teachings. He didn't become divine until ca 70-90 yrs after his death. So anyway on the question Jesus was just a man IMO and probably has decendants with Mary M. Cloning him would just be another man of the same genes so who cares. No reason to follow him as if he was divine. And his decendants if he has any wouldn't be any more special than those of Gandhi, Buddah, Confucius, Lao Tzu, et al. This all assumes that jesus wasn't just a myth anyway. There is no proof he existed and especially not any that showed he was divine. If you think there is evidence then please email me and give me a good argument for god's existence, jesus' divinity or anything that shows this stuff is more than mythologie. And please don't email me with stupid arguments such as ID including Paley's watchmaker argument or irreducible complexity, Aristotles first cause argument, Pascal's Wagner, or any other equally foolish argument. I'm a logical thinker not a faith or emotion based believer so don't waste my time unless you have a real argument.

No. First of all I don't follow Jesus anyway. But even if I did, I wouldn't follow his clone. A clone is just a duplicate of a lump of flesh. Replicating the structure of his DNA would not make another Son of God. Only God can designate a vessel for his Son. Duh.

Make all the clones you want. It'll just be some guy who looks like Jesus. Most likely he'll just wander the streets and be mistaken for a disenfranchised Grateful Dead follower.

You cannot clone without some DNA of the person...well, in theory since no one has ever been cloned. We have no DNA of Jesus, so he could not be cloned.
Besides, Jesus rose from the dead and his body is alive and risen now. They will never have anything to clone.

Jesus is still Isa Almasih, peace be upon him.
However, if a scientist can clone Jesus. It is still not Jesus and no I would not listen to what ever he is teaching.
A person that is born of some one else's DNA is not the person itself, mentally and morally they are different person.

Scientists can never clone Jesus because Jesus is both God and Man. Humanity and Divinity.....Science has no capability to clone the Divine, and never will have.

No, because we really want to be following Jesus in Heaven to be with our God in eternity. We need to accept Jesus as the Son of God, our Lord and Savior...how on earth we would accept man made clone...HELLO???

If they cloned Mohammed, would you follow clone Mohammed. Mohammed died and was buried and most certainly is headed for hell. Jesus rose from the dead and lives in heaven with his father and will be presiding over Mohammed's judgement.

You can only clone what is physical. No-one follwed Jesus for His body. It was His spirit that made Him who He was. No-one will ever be able to duplicate a spirit. It cannot be done.
