I believe in God just not the bible, how dare anyone claim to know what God thinks, I have more respect for God, there are hundreds of archaeological finds proving that the bible that exists was put into place by church hierarchy that had ulterior motives for including and not including what THEY wanted in the bible, only someone who had ALL the original texts and could read them in the original language that they were written in would have a good understanding of what the ancient religious leaders had in mind, and who's to say they were God inspired, insane asylums are full of people who hear God

That's a nice biased site. I can find one too. http://www.greatsite.com/timeline-english-bible-history/pre-reformation.html Oh, but look...there are a few discrepencies with your site. You find websites that will tell you anything. And for the record...I do not necessarily agree with the website I am posting either. I just needed a quick website. What I believe to be the truth comes from books I have (from classes I have taken) and would take too much time to type here. :) If I have time, I'll come back and edit my post later if you would really like that information.

That link goes to a page that mixes truth with lies in the manner of liberal theologians. I'm not going to waste my time giving a detailed separation of which part is true, which part is speculation, and which part is an outright falsehood.

All I'm going to say is that the Sovereign Lord of all Creation has revealed Himself to mankind in the pages of the Bible as the Holy Spirit moved men to write.

Here's a link for people who want an honest assessment of the Bible. http://www.allabouttruth.org/is-the-bible-true-c.htm

2 Peter 1:21
for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
