In terms of reconciliation of the bible and science, you will have to be more specific. The best book that I have read on the topic is "The Science of G-d" by Dr. Gerald Schroeder. If you are interested, it is an excellent work.
You can never conclusively prove anything, but the most obvious demonstration of g-d is the second law of thermodynamics. Order can devolve into chaos, but chaos can never evolve into order without outside influence. The world started with the big bang as a totally chaotic system, but now is more complex than anything anyone has ever experienced.

These are going to be the same lame answers as always. You cant prove something doesn't exist. The Bible is only proof that people can write. There is no proof of God and there never will be. If you believe it doesn't matter, if you don't, well, same thing. If you are trying to decide for yourself, I ask this question, Is God all powerful? If God is all powerful then why did he decide for there to be pain and suffering in this world? Remember God is all powerful and could have accomplished any objective anyway God wanted without pain and suffering. If God is not all powerful then what can't God do? Is God taking credit for stuff God can't do? Just some questions. I think that when you ask the concept of God stand up to true critical thinking that you will see that it doesn't work. I that's what I believe. No God, no problem

You can reconcile what the Bible says with Science by either saying (1) you can't take the Bible literally, or (2) Science is wrong.
Proof is actually a subjective thing, therefore, proof of God exists in the minds of individuals. Create your own proof.

Why bother to ask this. Simple answer: There is no God. The whole point behind religion is that it gives the masses something to believe in when they think all hope is lost. It's also something that can be used to control masses and has therefore been used since the dawn of time to bring 'order' (this is infact only order when viewed by the people that weren't massacred or otherwise discriminated against).
The fact that a majority of the world is Christian unforunately plays it into their hands. One of the main things associated with religion is war, whether it be large scale or a minor dispute over semantics. With war, the outcome is usually decided by numbers so as I said, you're wasting your time.
One other thing that I might add is that the Bible is simply a book. It has a lot of stories but that's all they are. They are not a proven history of the world, they are the words of people with a biased opinion towards their faith. How's to say that a majority of the work wasn't intended to be fiction. And who's to say that it is more fact than, for example, the Quran?

You are alive. Jesus Christ. He isnt just a biblical character he has been recorded in history just as JFK has, as an exsistant person.
Just because the bible does not promote Evolution directly it doesnt mean it doesnt support science.
What are you inferring the bible says about science ??
In science you must have proof that a certain theory is absolutely non viable before you just cast it aside.
Just as You must prove it to be 100% viable as to consider it fact.
In this world it is obvious that there are infinate possibilities of anything being fact.
Watch the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know" and you will get a lot closer to your answer.
A great number of scientist and scientific scholars admit that there must be another explation beyond the scientific conclusions we have been able to come up with due to the fact that there is still the chance and possibility that there are possibilities beyond our comprehension.
I am a firm believer in God. A higher being or something of the sort.
Even with the "Big Bang" THEORY. You have to ask where did it all come from? and how did it all start.
THE Basics Who What Where When How Why?
And Also apply the scientific Method !!!!!!!!
-Description
-Prediction
-Control
-Understanding
**Covariation of events
**Time-order relationship
**Elimination of plausible alternatives
The last of these is the most frequently contentious area, which leads to the following: All hypotheses and theories are in principle subject to disproof. Thus, there is a point at which there might be a consensus about a particular hypothesis or theory, yet it must in principle remain tentative. As a body of knowledge grows and a particular hypothesis or theory repeatedly brings predictable results, confidence in the hypothesis or theory increases.
Scientific method refers to a body of techniques for the investigation of phenomena and the acquisition of new knowledge of the natural world, as well as the correction and integration of previous knowledge, based on observable, empirical, measurable evidence, and subject to laws of reasoningmethod.
Good Luck with finding your answer. And God Bless.

The problem should not be to reconcile the Bible with science. The truth is to reconcile science with what the Bible says. The message of the Bible was inspired by God a couple of thousand years ago and hasn't changed in all that time. Can you name some scientific principles that have not changed in that time? Most of science changes like the weather but the Bible is infallible. The message of the Bible which is God's Holy Word and God remain constant over time. God sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for our sins. Jesus walked among us and healed the sick and fed the poor, yet He was rejected by His own people. He died on a cross and rose after three days in a tomb, just as He said He would, in a victory over death. He ascended to heaven to make ready a place for those who accept Him as their Savior and follow His teachings. He will return one day to claim the ones who are His to spend eternity with Him in heaven. Can science offer us anything to touch that? Science will continue to predict events as long as life goes on, some will be fact, some will fall by the wayside as nonsense. The prophecy in the Bible from thousands of years ago is being fulfilled every day. We just have to accept Jesus as our personal Savior and be ready when He returns.
Jesus loves you.

When God created the universe, He also created the rules the universe abides by and thus did He create science. The Bible is a manifestation of humanity's limited ability to perceive God's infinite nature and as such will be flawed as all human things are flawed. Just because they are the words of God, it doesn't mean it isn't influenced by mankind's limited ability to translate that into something our limited brains can comprehend. There are a great many things in the Bible that can be explained through science and more things get resolved as our knowledge of scientific truth grows.
As for proving God exists, that's not possible as of yet or else there would be no need of faith. Of course, this illustrates the tie between science and religion where religion fills in the parts of existence we have yet to prove through our limited knowledge of God's greatest creation: science.
People who believe that science contradicts religion are generally fools (on both sides).

Science deals with our limited abilities to observe. Think about it. !00 yrs ago we could not see as much of the universe as today. 100 yrs from now will will likely be able to see even more. Yet scientist in all their arrogance act as if they already have all the knowledge necessary. They don't. It is not possible. So it is not religion that comes up short but rather science.
Consider the the following Rev6:14" the sky receded like a scroll rolling up" . Odd that scientist are now trying to figure out string theory which has morphed into M(membrane) theory. Under this theory matter exist on a membrane or a plain. If one membrane touched another membrane matter could move from one demension to another. Now how did us dumb Christians end up with something so similar in a book written so long ago?

Christians, and other people of faith, say you can't prove God's existence. However, we do look to certain things as revelations of the divine. For instance, people who believe in God, believe God is revealed in nature, through scripture and the witness of all those people's experience of the divine, human experience.
Sorry, there is no empirical evidence or proof of God, at some point it's a decision of faith. Not that faith has to be in contrast to reason, there are plenty of reasonable people out there who accept science, evolution, and don't read the Bible literally.

Your question is a little vague. Do you mean the Bible is not in line with science? I believe that it is. God created all living things. They were created to adapt to their environment. Most scientists now believe )because of studying DNA) that there had to be intelligent design, thus God. Even our modern day hygenic practices come from the Bible. Many archeological digs have proven the Bible to be accurate, I belive science and God go very well together.

**** god, **** the bible and **** your question.
What are you quizzing the world?
The quest for self realization is going to be an entirely selfish venture because it has to make sense to you right?
So what if the answer to your divine question you disagree with?
Is everyone else in the world stupid except for you?
What are you really looking for? Truth, or some kind of validation that you were always doing the right thing with your life the entire time?
You need to ask yourself whether or not you're willing to accept that everything you have ever known or done in your life could be wrong before you can open yourself to the realities of the universe.
You aren't.
But when you are, keep in touch.
