it is not a question of belief ,but of democracy.
no higher authority should have the power to determine what you do with your body or mind .
this is a personal choice .or problem for the family or doctor .not the police.
it shows lack of faith in humanity ,when there exist laws that limit one freedoms.
history shows that ,that which is illegal gets abused.
In the Netherlands almost everything is allowed and almost nothing gets done by the local kids, drugs are mainly for the tourists
the kids decide for themselves what is good or bad for them .
in the jungle appears to be chaos, but a strict order results
this also works with people.
In America however another strategy is in operation .leaning more and more to fascism and the New World Order.which will start to persecute minority groups soon .as Hitler did .and comes from the same illuminati source
I do not think that marijuna will ever be legal in the USA
the attitude is dogmatic for other reasons than the narcotic effects of the drug.
before 1920 marijuana was extensively grown by the USA and Mexico for the production of fibre.which made a durable material, cheap and it does not scorch, that was used for all the jeans, ropes, sails for the sailing ships and millions of jute bags that were used by millions of farmers, representing a multimillion dollars business.
after 1920 with the coming of synthetic materials, which were products of the petrolium business ,which were owned by the families or associates of most of the presidents,
this competitive comodity could not be allowed to continue to exist,
and the war on Mariujana was on.
the drug factor although it has been proven beyond doubt by countless tests that it was a relative harmless substance compared to sigarettes, alcohol and others, was blatently ignored and relentlessly the war continued to this day.
it worries the church, because people tend to stay up all night and question religious and philosohical beliefs.some times coming to uncomplementary conclusions of what was socially accepted.
alcohol puts people to sleep and they dont question the given standards.
so alcohol is a better colaborator to the general brainwashing, which is produced by religion and all of the media ,including Hollywood(check who the moguls are ,all freemasons) that is putting the people under the control of the illuminati
so the only drugs that we can expect to become legal or illegally pushed and permitted are the destructive downers
the illuminati strategy includes a lowering of the world population by 60%.so whatever compliments that .is what we will see around

Marijuana should be legal without a doubt. Everything else, hell no. There is such a huge difference in weed and other drugs. Trust me, I have tried them all. You can smoke all the weed you want and the only thing that might happen is you loose motivation, get a little lazy, but for the most part, you go along with your life. Cocaine, heroin, things like that, will absolutely ruin who you are and everything you are about. You will loose your faith, your morals, your love. Terrible drugs and if they were legal more people would try them and more people would get hooked. I think the penalties should be more harsh for those drugs, and weed should be legal.

I believe in drug use every time I go to the pharmacy to get a prescription filled or call the doctor to get a prescription called in or remember the various times I'm supposed to take a pill or somesuch. The American Pharmaceutical Association is the biggest drug pusher in the world, and the American populace the biggest bunch of druggies in the enitre world. Why do you think the Colombians and Mexicans and Chinese, etc., etc., etc., have been working for centuries to get here to America with their drugs. Look at all the druggies they see!! Look at the market they see!! Look at how much money the various pharmaceutical companies make per year. In the billions of dollars each, some of them. And look at the monopoly they have! And you ask, here in America, do we Americans believe in drug use. And how real is the possibility of a "drug free America". Not in my lifetime I can guarantee. We got drugs in bottles and cans and in syringes and in various type pills and pads. Hell, we even have drug patches to "help" us get un-addicted to other drugs because we haven't got the spine to do it ourselves. And I can tell you from personal and professional experience, there is NO drug rehab program that doesn't ultimately state YOU are the one responsible for getting off drugs, even though they claim you need their program because sobriety isn't a matter of will power. Now, talk about a contradiction in terms, and false advertising. Someone ought to read the fine print on these detox programs, including the small print, and sue them out of existence. I'm all for a drug free environment, but as a former drug/alcohol counselor, I have to say, "Are you kidding?! Here in America?! This is the greatest drug market in the world, and it ain't the Colombians' or Mexicans' fault. It's our spineless selves fault." God Bless you.

Wellllll...it's a hard question, isn't it? I think that weed should absolutely be legalized. Smoking weed is no more damaging to your lungs than cigarettes. It is less dangerous than alcohol, since you can't OD on weed. (well, you can, but you have to smoke something like a roomfull in one night...we should be so lucky!) Also, I read somewhere (Skipping towards Gomorrah, or Freakonomics, I don't remember which, both good, but totally different books) that drug dealers, although they might sell crack, or they might sell heroin or coke or E or whatever else, make most of their money in marijuana, so that if the marijuana business was taken out of their hands and put into legitimate businessmen's hands, many of them would go out of business, because most of their income would be taken away from them. It makes sense, there are many, many more people in the world who smoke seed than smoke crack, and crack addicts don't live half as long. Also, it's pretty easy for teens to get a hold of weed, and relatively hard to get a hold of alcohol or cigarettes, since there are drug dealers in most public schools but alcohol or cigs requires going through some kind of legitimate store, or stealing, or getting someone else to buy it for you. If weed was legal, there would be legal barriers against young people getting a hold of it. (Whether you think these barriers should be in place is a whole other legal issue)
In terms of harder drugs, I want to say they should be legal, just in support of less government oversight into people's personal decisions, but they are pretty horrible drugs that ruin people's lives. Would people steal for heroin if they could buy it at the corner store? I don't know. It's tough.

I think if I had the power I would legalize and subsidize all drugs now deemed illegal.
A quart jar of heroin or cocaine could be bought for $0.25 can you imagine the decrease in crime and the increase in business at all the funeral homes. In 18 months half the funeral directors would be retired, the prison population would decline by half, the herd would have been thinned, and corporations would have openings from entry level to upper management.
This could be a real "win win" situation.

Even thought there would be people out there that can use the drugs in a resonsible manner, there will be those people out there that will ruin it for everyone. They will be the ones to use it at work or while driving. Then it will just become illegal again. SOrry to say. It sucks.

Legalizing, regulating and taxing marijuana would ease so many problems in this country. Hemp is a marvelous agricultural product, easy to grow, easy on the soil, and many products can be made from it. Heep seed oil is one of the best lubricants around. However, because of hysteria over marijuana use, this incredible product cannot be grown here in the states.
Alcohol and tobacco are not only legal in the US, but are subsidized and taxed. Both have been proven to be dangerous and unhealthy. I've heard of people killing people in a drunken rage, but never because they'd smoked a doobie!

The only drug that should be legalized is Marijuana. The effects of Marijuana and Alcohol are so strikingly similar, that I'm personally shocked that the government hasn't legalized it yet.
However, I don't imagine it happening anytime soon, as I can't even legally smoke a cigarette in a bar in my state. Our rights are being ripped away from us.

Well there are a lot of really bad drugs out there. I don't think heroine or meth should EVER be legalized. I mean, have you SEEN meth addicts. It's disgusting. I don't do drugs, but I don't have have any problems with canibus, or LSD or shrooms... just keep it natural man. No white drugs. Steer clear of amyls or ether or ex... I mean, just stay safe with natural stuff I say.
