Someone asked me why I believed the Bible it was written by men, and I told him this, I've been teaching you Biology for a semester, why did you believe me? Why did you study all semester if all I was teaching you was what man wrote? Made him think. The Bible is the word of God, I have faith in that. People have faith everday, they just fail to see it. Every time you cross over a bridge you have faith that the co. that built it knew what they were doing. If you can read the book of Job chapters 38 and 39 and tell me if you can answer the questions asked of Job. I hope you take the time to read it and think of how awesome our God truly is!! Have you told a lie? What does that make you? (hint: starts w/ a "L")
Have you stolen anything in your life (downloading music)? What does that make you?
Have you lusted after a man or woman? (Jesus called this adultery at heart)
If you're guilty of breaking God's law, should he send you to heaven or hell? If hell, are you concerned. If the prospect of going to hell as punishment for your lawlessness concerns you, there is good news. While you broke God's law, Jesus Christ paid your fine by being annihilated upon the cross. He was crushed for your sins. He died, was buried, and rose again defeating death. God is not willing that you perish, but that you repent and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Ask God for His forgiveness, then read your Bible and obey it.

The Bible wasn't referring to a 24 hour period. A day can also refer to an unspecified amount of time, such as "back in my father's day...". The earth is millions of years old and the Bible does not disagree with that.

Could the 'Lords Day', be that far in the future? Or, is it closer to my life time? Narrow it down for me, could it actually be the day I die? Now that would be a major coincidence! Me dying and the world dying on the same day!

why cant people believe in god and not have a religion. religion tears people apart, it destroys lives, it splits up countries and continents, it destroys the world, it is all a lie, and people make money off of it!!! i go to church maybe once a year, and thats on easter, only because it makes my mom feel good when she sees me in church!....ive been living on this planet for 18 years, and i cant believe older people dont realize this!!, oh and by the way, me and my family are healthy, and better off, as compared to some family friends that go to church every sunday........and give money to the church.....so tell me, why cant people just believe in god....?

Who knew that Catholics use statues in the very same way you use your nativity scene?

DId you know that we don't worship them, but rather use them to reflect upon and think of these people when we pray.

Did you know that we (Catholics) only worship God?

I moved to CA, to be a mother to my son, but my husband and I have had a terrible time getting along. I have no friends or family .He is all I have in that department, yet he tossed me out, and refuses to give me any money at all. Not to mention he threatens anyone who helps me.
