Yesterday I was chatting to a girl online and she was telling me she is really strict and believes in love and marriage.. I think that's fair enough... but then she said she would never divorce no matter what's going to happen in the future, so I asked her what would she do if her husband becomes violent and beats her up everyday? She replied that she would support him anyway and with the help of God they will find a way out of this because she is so against divorce. I think she is mad, I know some people have got some strong beliefs but is it fair to put yourself in danger for it? What do you think?

Ok, so I read the other day that there was a state in the 'great' US of A, that had banned doctors from performing abortions, even in cases of rape and incest. How can they justify that? As well as going through a horrific experience, they then have to give birth to the product of that experience? I just really, really dont get it, that in the 21st century, we are still so backwards! Opinions please people!

Take the Harry Potter books for example, they're a set of books that have turned an entire generation onto reading, AND YOU THINK IT'S BAD!!! HOW CAN THAT BE BAD!? (And yes I used the caps lock intentinoally, if I could I'd yell at you people through a mike, but I don't have one) Just explain to me how it can be considered bad? Keeping in mind that I'm a full blooded aetheist so your "Please believe" crap won't work.

When are we going to realize that all that glitters is not gold, and that the devil is not always going to appear to us as a big red guy with horns and a black cape .He can take the most subtle of forms, even as an angel of light. For example, where the hell do some people get off saying that there is a difference between devil worship and satan worship.People, satan and the devil are one and the same!!You see? He has blinded the eyes of us all. Instead of bashing christians for merely speaking their minds(atheists, devil worshippers)or insulting atheists for what is obviously the devil's work taking a toll on them(christians), Why cant we simply talk to atheists as if they themselves are one of us?Dont you realize that the more you argue with them or insult them, the farther they stray from THE LORD? We aught to help them! Would you shun someone who had a terminal disease ?And for the atheists, look at yourself , the trees, the sky. Can u honestly see the beauty of earth and deny HIM?

Would you say it is honest and/or proper during maybe a not so pleasant conversation to say you need to go because of a phone call. This person has done this on several occassions. Seem like when the conversation gets a little uncomfortable, this person will do this. And what about signing off of messenger right after I sign on? Originally I dismissed this behavior. Thought that it was legitamate that there really was a call but now that it has happened so many times, It really has me wondering. Would you call this a true honest friendship between two people. Is it proper to change the subject and cut off the coversation in this manner? With me, if the conversation is getting me down I will be HONEST and say, "Hey. is it okay if we talk about something else please this conversation is bringing me down" Any ideas?

I never realized, until planning my own wedding how exspensive these events can be. It equals to about $32.00 per person, that's just food. There are already 270 people invited and the place only holds 300. I can not afford any one else. How can I tell people that can't bring a blind date, a new friend or a crying 2 year old? HELP!!!!
