The question you ask determines the range of possible answers
How would you like to pay for the doubleglazing?
What does it mean is a very different question to how is this related to that. Meaning reduces things to essences, which prejudices the question to begin with. It's hard to get out of these sort of traps because the language we're writing in suggests them.
Try turning nouns in to verbs to experience it differently. Life is a noun, meaning is a noun. Don't pin it down, enjoy the flux.
What's the meaning of a flower? Depend who is looking, a bee, a child, a gardener, someone with hayfever,
Perception is relative

WARNING: THE ALIENS MIGHT VISIT YOU TO ERASE YOUR MEMORY IF YOU READ THIS.
Well, you don't think the whole universe works the way Earth does, do you? No! One species, one planet! There is a planet of deer, a planet of Asians, and so on! We put them all together on Earth and the whole universe tunes in to watch the fun!
Most of the races of Earth are descended from alien races, in order to create drama from racial tension from their unnatural cohabitation of the planet.
The purpose of our lives as humans is to entertain the life forms on other planets through the reality television show that they know as EARTH.
After 100 episodes the only reason that the show was not cancelled, the planet of earth not demolished, the sun not turned off, and we are still alive is because I blackmailed the Joozians who produce the show with some dirty pictures that Kenny took of them while they were high on blach. Now, look behind you.
This was revealed to me in
South Park, 100th episode, Season 7 - Episode 4 - Cancelled.

My belief is that we are here to grow and learn, So many people think of this life as the end, but it is just a learning stage to continue on. The more we prepare ourselves hear by making good decisions and overcoming our weakness the better of we will be in the next life. I believe the best way to do that is to follow what your heart tells, love others, serve others, don't give in to worldly things, spread joy, have children with someone you love and raise those kids to bring good to the world. All that we do here is preparatory for the next life, which in my belief is a life in eternity.

The meaning of our lives means nothing if there is no God. Think about. So if he's not real then we are here to die. That's it. We are to live for God and only him. Not money, not things, just him. He made us for a purpose because he wanted to, but that's my opinion.

You know, i wonder that every night before I go to sleep. I ponder why we are here? Why do people kill other people? Where did we come from? I really don't know. What I do know is that life has more questions then answers and that, someday, if someone asks that enough times that person will finally have the answer.

Life is a multi-faceted concept that may refer to the ongoing process of which living things are a part of the period between fertilisation or mitosis and death. (Wikipedia)
We live to experience, to feel, to be. If you aren't doing these things, you aren't living...you are merely existing.

To ask questions and feel and grow. To evolve mentally and spiritually. I think there for I am.
And then there is the side benefits of chocolate.
